    NOTE:

The reason it can't work is that everything outside of the actual buildable settlements is all grouped together.

Trees, rubbish, bushes, stones, machines, tables, etc. So all objects are not recorded individually, but in a group. That's why scraper MODs don't work, if you can scrap some objects here and there, it's because they don't belong to any group.

Some of them have already opened the console and clicked on an object (e.g. table) to disable it. Has it never occurred to you that even if you clicked on a chair or on the wall of a house, the same ID appears. This is not the ID of the object, but the group and groups cannot be deactivated.

So an area has to be created using the Creation Kit and the individual groups within it have to be processed, then the things can also be scrapped.

What you did was break the pre-combined mesh for that one location (by deleting/modifying a piece of it). I see others below have pointed that out, and pointed out that you CAN break all of them, but it will take a toll on your game. I have a very good system, but I wouldn't do that (even though I truly HATE all the garbage lying around everywhere).

I think the only way to use Conquest effectively is to go in and edit the places you want to turn into settlements with the Creation Kit. There's one spot I really like that I will probably clean-up (and if I can do it well enough, maybe I'l post the mod here). If more people would post 'Conquest-ready' locations, the Conquest mod would be so much more useful overall.

Does this need to be loaded up after "Scrap Everything?" I installed the mod and still can't scrap anything extra around my settlement, none of the tires or trees or debris... not sure if its just the particular stuff around my settlement or if the mod isn't working...should I be able to scrap as much stuff as I can normally with the Scrap Everything mod? If so I'd say something isn't working

Ok it definitely works at the Red Rocket in Lexington... all except for the cash register that is.

Does this mod produce the problem in which (when scrapping certain debris and dirt piles since there is no texture underneath) invisible voids in the floor / ground are produced? I had a similar mod like this installed and it caused this problem.

I don't know. I haven't had any issues like that yet, but I haven't had much time the past couple of days to try it out. I am going to mess with it today.

havent seen any map voids or "black holes " and trust me when i say that ive scrapped anything there is to scrap.
YES you will havelogical issues when you scrap a big piece of land mass and leave a a gigantic dip in the ground for example and have to refill it or level it so npc's dont fall into it.
For issues like this i use either some grass tiles that have collision or a bunch of rocks sunk into the ground and maybe even some concrete if im going to build there.
Its all easy if you use the place anywhere or place in red mods.

The only thing i cant do to and area is terra form it ( flatten it,raise it etc... ) that i would kill for a mod that does that.
I know you can do that with dev tools like the creation kit but i dont want to get into that shit...and seriously...im really to old to even try...
My 55 yearold brain cant keep up...hehehe

When you say "a gigantic dip" you don't mean invisible or missing textures, right? Just a dip in the gorund? Then again, I don't really want to install "Scrap Everything" mod because I don't want to give my character the ability to make everything including houses disappear hehe.
      Thx for the help

Scrap Everything is a great mod, just have to be careful when scrapping (SAVE FIRST!!). I've accidentally scrapped the red rocket before

Not being able to clean up all the garbage around really got on my nerves, so I am really grateful to the Scrap Everything mod authors!

The short answer is yes, anytime you completely remove a base texture that has nothing underneath... i.e. the game is rendering nothing in that one spot, it will most likely cause problems that will eventually crash your game. "Scrap Everything" does the same thing if you use it with the mod "Basement Living" and go and scrap one of your Basement walls. You will see nothing but white in that one spot where the wall was and most probably CTD shortly thereafter. The game doesn't really know what to do if it has nothing to render

I had the same effect inside the Corvega Assembly Plant, after I removed some stuff in the Creation Kit. I assume it has something to do with the cell being modded (Maybe cause it's on a modded cells list or something). Going to rebuild the Corvega mod and only remove 1 object, lets see what happens. If it works I'll post the mod.

I like to make settlements in weird places- I have one on the three boats east of spectacle island, for example. Willing to see how this turns out.

I dont know if youre aware but you can scrap anything with the right mod and certain line in the fallout4 ini .

I had the same problem as you before i finaly got the right info and found the right tools.

I use scrap everything and have the line busecombinedobjects 0 ( this unlocks the stuff that you cant scrap ).
Also i use the disable command when i cant scrap something. Its very rare that i would find something i cant scrap ( even lakes )
ofc its not for a "newb" to use cause it will break his cell if he doesnt know what hes doing.
Example i can console command "scrapall" from red rocket and take out half of sanctuary and 1/3 of concord for example and i mean everything.

    Look at this..
Its below that shack that has the homemade launcherhttp://prntscr.com/c0jlmc(if you go there and try to scrap you will find quite a few objects that wont be scrapped or even light up. With my configuration and "disable" i clean out anything i dont like.

If it's actual scrap/junk that you want gone(like those ugly garbage piles and stuff), don't just use "disable" but also use "markfordelete". Disabled items remain in the world and tend to reappear randomly. Items marked for delete, are gone unless you load a previous save.

any chance that deleting will kill the object all together or does each placed object get its own id code ?

Have you had any peformance or graphical issues arise while using "busecombineobects 0"? I get shuttering and walls of building that vanish, especially buildings i've constructed with Homemaker. Also scrapped items reappear upon loading. My understanding was that these issues were common with the above ini edit.

I didn't want to use any console commands. I usually play on steam big picture with a steam controller in my living room (not at my computer and keyboard) so something that doesn't require using the console is what I was going for.

also note you can and i am all ready doing it.
Use a makro hotkey and have the command with 2 clicks... ( one to open consoleand second (the hotkey ) to type the command and enter it ).
Then again im using a left hand game controller where i assign these keys.

      look at the razer tartarus.http://prntscr.com/c1shg5

For me scrapping is the most important part of the building anywhere process so i made it a as easy as possible for me.
