    Sticky
For anyone that cares (which I doubt anyone does): I'm playing with the animations right now. If I figure something out I'll release it ASAP.

Just come to say thank you for this must-having mod. May I ask you to to add the belt only type (without rack) for next update?

Will you please make the curves into steel rollers? An actual belt cannot be curved, unless it's made up of magical stretchy material :)
Try with a paper cutout. You won't be able to roll it :)

Old mod is old, but badly needed. Install and hope!

I'm curious if you can make the vanilla roller curves have this functionality.

The 0.2.1 version flipped all my turned conveyors the opposite direction, when I try to fit the conveyors back in, they no longer snap in correctly.
Based on the description for your 0.3.1 version, I wonder if some how the files aren't messed up and downloading 0.2.1 is still grabbing 0.3.1 files.

Sorry for the late response. Do you mean that conveyors that you had built before you updated to 0.2.1 ended up flipped?

This Old Fart is a bit confused! Do I download 0.1 and overwrite with 0.2.1 and 0.3.1a progressively, or do I download only a single file of my choosing?
Sorry, my brain isn't working too well today.

No need to do it progressively. Just install 0.2.1 (the latest release) or 0.3.1a (as long as you mind the warning in the description).

OK could you tell me what I did wrong? I installed with NMM loaded the game. It says it has the belt but does not show up in game or is placable.. I have the mod Manufacturing extend could it conflict with it?

It should not conflict with anything. Do you mean that it is in the build menu but doesn't show up when you go to place it?

I am having a similar issue. I have the DLC and the mod installed via NMM. The pieces are there in the menu however they are invisible both in the menu and when you try to place them in the world.

It appears that when I packed the .ba2 for upload I mis-named it. Since I also had the properly named archive in my data directory I didn't see the mistake.

I'm not at my main computer so I can't fix it right now, but we'll update with the fix shortly. If you don't want to wait you can fix it yourself by renaming "Curved Conveyors - Main.BA2" to "Curved_Conveyor - Main.ba2"

Sorry for the mistake and thank you guys for pointing it out.

I have now changed the filenames and re-uploaded them as 0.2.1 and 0.3.1a respectively. The issue should have been solved.

Thanks for letting us know! And continue to should any other issues arise.

It seems very useful, and I can think of ways to use it... but's just gonna bother me every time I look at it.

Why? You've never seen a curved conveyor in real life?

Was just gonna request the same thing- ive got the supportless conveyors setup around a few of my settlements as 'moving walkways' (ok, they're really slooooow, but it's the idea that counts), curved corners would definitely enhance them.

We (Timtimman and myself) just finished curved, animated conveyors without supports. The next release is almost ready to go.

I had the same idea for "lazy sidewalks." I tried speeding the conveyors way up to running speed, but things get really wonky.

Yeah, I used the Conquest mod to build a bridge to Spectacle Island, and then when Contraptions came out, I thought "Why walk to Spectacle Island, when you can ride?"

Answer: because it takes a long ass time... really long, like 6 game hours...

Right now i've got the curved rollers as endcaps, but it'll be cooler once I can make it a continuous loop.

cool mod :3 is it possible to make a Xtra Xtra Broad and long conveyor? ^^ i want to build a arena above a big horizontal gate which will open after a fight and the corpses fall on conveyors under the gate :')

    pretty nice mod

Absolutely, one way or another. Extra long seems a bit redundant as you can just chain them together. But I'll take a look at making broad ones. How broad do you mean; 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x?

And do you mean the curved one in particular, because that might be much trickier.

Probably that actual conveyor belts cannot make curved corners (or any corners really).
It takes special conveyor plates to form the curves at airport baggage claim areas, and those must form a complete loop of travel.

There are curved conveyor belts that are full mats and don't need plates like at the airport. The only reason why the curved conveyor belt here wouldn't work is due to it not being curved. That, or you have to assume it's a very stretch material. A quick search will show several solutions: https://www.google.com/search?q=curved+conveyor+belt

YES, there are curved conveyor belts, the belts just aren't straight. I've been in manufacturing/processing for about 20 years and have seen them myself. They're less common than plastic linked/modular belts for curves, but they do exist (I'm guessing due to potential tracking issues on install and then later repeatedly over time if the material stretches unevenly...not sure, I program them, I don't do mechanical maintenance).
