Would THIS mod not ruin the bullet gravity effect of your mod Realistic Bullets - Velocity and Gravity when choosing the without tracers option along side with THIS mod??? Edit:IGNORE MY COMMENT, I DID SOME TEST, COMBINING THE TWO MOD BREAKS SCOPED TRACERS ofRealistic Bullets MOD

Realistic Bullets (without tracers) + Vapor Trails and Tracers
(the scoped bullet projectile from Realistic Bullets retains the "gravity effect", but the tracers was not present)
(guns retained the third person tracers from Vapor Trails and Tracers) (the Realistic Bullets's gravity effect from third person accuracy was not tested.)
This MOD and my realistic Bullots MOD do different things. This simply enables the vanilla tracer effect for every shot, while retaining the hitscan based projectiles. The Vanilla effect is normally only used for 1 in every 4 shots from weapons using Rifle class ammo like 5.56 and .308.
Realistic Bullets completely overhauls how the bullet projectiles work. Turning then into actual projectiles with varying velocities.
Okay. Thanks for clearing things up. I recently stumble upon with this mod and thought i could combine the two. I will stick with the Realistic Bullets then.
well anyway just wanted to say this mod is simple but effective. adding more trails and stuff not only assists in tracking where a shot came from but adds to the intensity of large-scale firefights.
To those looking for weapon tracer mods today and beyond, this mod does exactly what it says on the tin and it will never ever get old. It is finished, the author does not need to expand or fix anything as the there is only one variable that is edited that turns on the tracer effect. It is a vanilla variable that is usually set to 0, 1 or 4. Vanilla Minigun has it set to 4 in vanilla which means one tracer per 4 bullets, this mod does not edit that.
You can compare this mod to 'Tracers Light 'em Up', they are exactly identical except this mod here adds Railway spikes. 'Weapons of fate' is a similar mod that edits the same values and adds a bit more bling and "realism" but other than that uses the same kind of edits.
a mod working is different than a mod conflicting.
It's editing projectile data and happens to be making my vanilla weapons replacer guns make no sound at all. Some guns make sound, but have no tracer, some guns have tracers, but make no sound.
This mod conflicts with the "Longer Range Projectiles" because both mods seem to make edits to Projectile data, whichever one I load last is the one that works.

But I think they can be made compatible, because one is changing projectile range and the other projectile trail effect. Could you please combine them for me because I don't know how. Thanks.
Always like small underrated mods like this. However, could you add support for the extra calibers from Far Harbor and Nuka World, as well as incendiary round support? Also, I can't remember but do shotgun rounds have tracers? There are also some popular weapon mods that add new types of rounds to the game. If you had a free moment would you consider adding patches for those?
Also, some weapon modifications add automatic fire. So is it possible to add tracers to every shot when fired semi-automatic but maybe 1 of 4 in automatic mode? Would that require scripting? Just want to cut down on the spam.
New ammo from Far Harbor and Nuka World should work just fine, as they do still use the Vanilla Projectile Forms. Shotguns already have their own unique tracer effect that already happens with each shot. Majority of modded weapons, even ones that do use new ammos still apply the vanilla Projectile Forms for the ammo, so they should work fine. Though I do know of a few that use their own Projectile Forms that would need patching.
Would be possible to have Auto receivers have less frequent tracers, The tracer effect is tied tot he Projectile data and it is easy enough to add a Projectile override property to the Receiver Omod. Adding suppressors to your weapon already does this to change the muzzle flash as the muzzle flash is also tied into the Projectile Forms.
This can not be made compatible with Weapons of Fate because this is not a ballistic over. This simply increases the change of the Vanilla hit-scan tracer effect which is not compatible with proper ballistic projectiles. Uses the same kind of effect as Laser weapons, except styled to look like a bullet vapor trail.

TL;DR it works, and always will.
