Mod reviewers and people that make tutorials on Youtube;
Bethesda (I guess, lol);
Obsidian, because NV was awesome and the first fallout I played;
"TangentTurner," because he tried to fix this first, but it didn't work for me and other people: tough break, man. I would have waited, but I was already working in the GECK, because I'm trying to make something else, and because I didn't want to lug these melons back to the workshop when I went back in the game;
and Arby's, because that's what I was eating just now;
Oh, and for whoever's mod made my map icon a cave, you suck, because I gotta figure out which mod it is now, to let you know. XD
It's Beth's 1.6 update that turns a few map icons into caves. You just need to update whatever mod you're using that has installed Pipboy_MapPage.swf, possibly you're using my Zoom-out Extended update that I've recently updated for 1.6 or Zenotep's original, or maybe you're using CMM Cartographers Map Markers Fallout4 Edition which has also been updated for 1.6
Maybe whichever one of us made the mod you're using is not the one who actually sucks?
Haha, I meant that jokingly. I won't keep a mod that I thought sucks, and really nobody working on mods sucks. And that's aside from when it turns out to be Bethesda's fault, lol. In my case, it turns out it was "Small Map Markers," so I'm gonna head over and see if there is a patch.
Idk how every update seems to break something, lol.
It's cool. Probably hard to tell the difference sometimes, when there has been so much dram and complaining and stealing, etc, recently since Bethesda has widened the audience base for mods...
I just threw that in there because I just noticed it when I went in the game to check that it worked, and was like "...sigh, what is this, now..." But it's no big deal. And I wasn't gonna go b&@*$ about it to whoever. I was just gonna figure out what it was and let them know, but if it's due to a patch, then obviously they probably have a hundred messages about it already, so I'm just gonna see if there is an update or not. I was going to like an hours ago, but I have been sitting here trying to make Fish Face Abernathy look more normal.
Works for me! I enabled the mod after completing the locket quest, and can now resume selling melons to Lucy for 5 caps each.
The only thing is that her first line "Here to collect the caps for the melons you gathered?" is neither voiced nor lip-synced. She just stares at the player character while the subtitles appear. The other dialogue lines that follow have been working fine so far. It's just a small issue, but if anyone can figure out how to fix it please let me know!
I do apologize if this should rather be posted in the bugs section. I have tried both your and TangentTurner mods, and none of them seem to work for me ^^; I have just gaining the farm as a settlement, so I am unsure if that could affect this or not.
Installing your mod at the very bottom of my loading order appears to make no difference - when I talk to Lucy I just say the generic line that I need to trade gear with her and nothing else.
You have to have the mod deactivated (turn off the esp) before getting the locket. Talk to Lucy and get her to offer you 5 caps by asking her what caps are for. Once you have a deal with her and then gain Abernathy farm as a settlement, enable this mod to keep Lucy buying your melons.
Her unlimited 5 caps per melon is one of, if the not the, best deal anywhere in the commonwealth.
Works like a charm I installed this after trying the other mod attempting to fix the issue. Also, Lucy has lovely, lovely melons. I have her wearing Sturgis' overalls. Also, if your using this for the first time: if this mod is loaded and you start a new game Lucy will never offer payment for melons. This mod has to be disabled and she will offer the caps for melons deal. Turn the mod on after the quest to get her sister locket back and you will be able to sell her melons for the whole game.
I know I'm a couple years late for this mod, but just wanted to confirm that this still works. One thing to note, make sure that there are still melon patches at the abernathy farm otherwise you won't be able to sell to Lucy. Found out that the mod kind of breaks when you move all the melon patches to a different settlement lol. Nothing too serious though, replant the melons and harvest them again. You're good to go.
I had a problem before where i can't have the mods working but all i have to do is to enable the modding which can be covered in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWDjdimWoMQ. Thanks.
That bra idea is good, you or someone else should make that, actually. I'm not very good with retextures though. They always come out s#*!, or too bright, thinks like that.

Thanks for the heads up, though.

(fyi: mod is running fine /did not test Tangent_Turner's version in advance)

Mine's an old game file so the locket quest's already been done.
