As for the folder not being there, as well as the radio itself, that could have been the mod wasn't installed properly. I used NMM to test this, so if you did it manually incorrectly, make sure the files in the zip go inside the data folder.
If you did use NMM, then try it manually, the folder should be there.
Yeees! So, now I got it working. Luckily when I converted the mp3 files for Fo4 I unintentionally copied only one song that had "mono" in the file name. I guess Fo4 will only play those files with "mono" in the name. That's why it was only playing that one song. I converted the rest of the mono tagged files, pasted em into Fo4, and it worked! Thankfully I made that initial mistake otherwise I wouldn't have know that it was the "mono" tagged files that I needed.
oh yeah, if I didn't mention that in the desc. I'll add it. It's because the game needs to play mono to get the 50s feel. Why they couldn't do it in engine beats me. At least you got it working now.
Anyone that wants the voice to - go to youtube, download the full radio & voice video, then convert it to a music wma or what ever it's called then put it into " THIS MODS SOUND FILE" boom done and sorted!
same can be done with the enclave! lol

That's if this "MOD WORKED", ..... it's not working at all, i've selected the radio in my pipboy nothing not only that!!
I'm going to assume your first language isn't English? Otherwise you aren't the brightest are you... First off, the mod i'm pretty sure works if everyone else didn't mention any issues. And you can't download one audio file and throw it in, each song has to be different. I also didn't include 3Dog as it doesn't fit anymore. The same could be done with the Enclave IF you made a whole new station in the CK sure.
And as for the mod not working for you, did you read the description? You have to get the songs and put them in the folder yourself for copyright reasons. And the station is located in the that folder. /Data/Sound/fx/mus/radio/galaxynewsradio.esp , that is where you put the songs. IF that folder isn't there then you might have installed it wrong.
yeah sorry about being behind on the NV stuff, it's coming I promise And as for Fallout 3, it's a PAIN to get working. But if you liked NV and willing to put up with it then I'd say maybe try to grab it cheap. I have it on Windows 10 and modded it and I have it working, so it is doable.
Please correct the "CitHole01 [ACTI:001849DF]" replacing "SanctuarySmokeFlareTriggerREF" (before was "CastleArmoryTrigger [ACTI:000519B3]") and "RadscorpionLS [STAT:0021A167]" that replaces "Radiator01 "Radiator" [STAT:0001D2D3]" - I believe that it's not intended but I can see it clearly changed when opening your mod in FO4Edit and it doesn't have anything to do with a radio station but it will create conflicts with the smoke flare grenade quest.
Also would like to suggest you change the "RadioTransmitter "Emergency Frequency RJ1138" [ACTI:0001FA5A]" to something more unique. Just edit it in the render window in the CK and create a new base Activator for it. Or you could copy the original in FO4Edit as "Copy as new record into.." and give it a unique name like i.e. "RadioTransmitterGNR".
These are only suggestion to improve the mod (I actually made those changes for myself).
All those records show up in FO4Edit. Like PaddyGarcia said it's easy to use it to clean up your mod (in fact any mod should be cleaned up in F04Edit before uploaded to the Nexus...).
It's easy to create dirty entries with the CK that we can't see without using other 3rd party tool like FO4Edit, specially when editing world or cell objects.
Alright well I'm extremely new to modding but I believe i've fixed everything? And as for the RadioTransmitter, thats the same because all the stations in the game use that base I think, so it's fine to keep it, no harm in it i'm pretty sure...
Is it possible that this works only with the steam edition?
I tryed to find the folder in my Fo3 folder and the closest I got was Fallout3/Data/Music but that folder only contains ambiance sounds. I have a file in data called Fallout - Sound.bsa. Am I guessing right that I have no other choice than to use a tool to unpack the .bsa archive?, or have I just looked in the wrong place?
Korvil, maybe you have not checked the description for this mod, but it requires you get get acces sound files from fallout 3 to insert them into fallout 4. Also thanks Nissan for the fast awnser and the effort you put into this mod.

EDIT: I fixed it by uninstalling Filthy Radio. It seems to conflict with your mod, so you might want to try and fix that.

But the radio should appear in
\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\Sound\FX\MUS\Radio
And it isnt!!!

Have you considered doing a Fallout 3 Enclave Radio mod? I really miss those tracks.
