Actually, UF4P only fixes *half* the problem. They fixed the missing 2h melee weapons, but chose not to include unarmed weapons and bare fists. This mod (as well as a few others here on Nexus) fixes everything.
I was wondering why the perk did nothing for half my playthrough. Guess this solves that. Thanks.
Edit: I made a version that includes the Nuka World 'Chosen Disciple' perk. I've also changed the perk descriptions to match the changes and made the whole thing an ESPFE.

In vanilla game, Ninja perk just treats unarmed weapons as the same as long-range weapons. UNIMMERSIVE!!!
This mod makes Ninja perk take the same effect to both unarmed weapons (including bare fist) and melee weapons.
It also fix another well-known bug in vanilla game that Ninja perk only reference 1H melee weapons but without 2H melee weapons in Ninja perk level 1 & 2.
With this mod, you can enjoy Iron Fist perk, nerver worry that Iron Fist is weaker than Big Leagues.

does this patch set ninja to multiplier too ? just like Ninja Fix do ?
