PLEASE NOTE: When uninstalling the mod make sure you give Nick his default trench coat and hat back, I don't want to be responsible for nude Nicks running around the commonwealth.

Honestly while I think as a concept this is outstanding, I'll have to give it a pass simply because it ends up making almost all of his dialogue incredibly out of place, same with other NPCs in game. Although I cannot state how much I think this, as a concept, is amazing. Hell just imagine Danse but it was Valentine instead, eventually learning he had the memories of a dead man and was a synthetic human, and him having to come to terms with that.
Not really - if you get the version with Gen-2 eyes, it still makes sense because he's obviously a Synth once you see the eyes. Lore-wise, it still makes sense too, since both he and DiMA were prototypes for the Gen-3 series. As DiMA explains, they were two different experiments to develop more human-behaving synths. If Nick is just a Gen-2 with a more human-looking skin and some guy's brain downloaded into him... everything still lines up. Neither one worked 100%, so instead they figured out how to 3D print biological synths. Bingo-bango!
Hey I want to use this but every time I try to run it (Through vortex) he is naked and the head showing through hat! He wont wear anything I give him. How to fix this? Thanks!
after uninstalling and loading the game up again, nicks normal synth face became merged with the gen 3 mods face. quite disturbing, and i cant seem to fix it. His hands are also invisible as well. does anyone have a fix for this?
i'm so sad. the mod is great, but I uninstalled it because of my own preferences. even after uninstall, I now have permanent humphrey bogart nick. did you ever figure it out?
Go to Steam and right click FO4, select properties>local files>verify integrity...it will totally blast any loose files you may be using though. It's a last resort if you can't fix it.
the mod is great, really. i even used the synth glove mod to give him his synth hand back. i personally couldn't vibe with it, even tho it is a great mod! the voice threw me off. I uninstalled it via NMM and i am stuck with a human-looking nick. does anyone have any suggestions?
Works for me after a quick trouble shoot. Worked when i place this at the bottom of my load order, then load -> save -> reload. Nick then appeared but i couldnt see his hands and his head was sticking out of his hat. I opened console, clicked Nick, typed disable, exited console for a sec, then reopened console and typed enable. Then he looked just like the pics.
