Ver. 0.2: Allows the player to fill bottles, just like in Survival Mode, when playing on any difficulty setting. Adds the option to fill empty bottles with water from other sources not included in Vanilla: - Water Purifier - Water Purifier - Industrial - Water Pump - Powered -> Requires Wasteland Workshop (DLCworkshop01.esm)
Ver. 0.3: Working in a new version with more options. If almost any water source is radiated, how do you get clean water with just a pump? I think that you would need to purify it first, so... It'll add a new version of the the water source, when it makes sense, so one version provides dirty water and the other purified water. I'm deciding the best way to make the two versions of the pumps (prerequisites and materials), and which options the installer should have to be user friendly. I'm testing it for now.
I thought the same thing, but every save since I added this mod are corrupt and can't be loaded. Might be a coincidence, but I removed it just to be safe. I do have to stress I have several other mods, so it might just be something else causing it, but I recommend checking just to be safe.
While I didn't use the mod itself per say, - I copied the records into my own "Lundun Patch".
I cannot see how this would corrupt ones saves. It just changes some conditions. I did only copy the "Modified perk" version into my patch, which well... just modifies a perk.
Did you read the Description tab in full? "*************** Known Issues: *************** If you have played in Survival and changed to another difficulty, it should work because you already have the hidden perk HC_FillWaterBottlePerk. If not, you will have to add the perk via console: player.addperk 00249f55"
I've never played in survival during this install and had the same issue and this fixed it for me. I guess it's "If you've ever tried survival mod since game release"
I've tried the console command, & I even tested going to survivor mode (where filling did work) but once I moved back to normal difficulty level the fill options disappeared in the menu. I even loaded this up in xedit to see what records are there & if anything was overrwriting it, I noticed that 'Interaction Animations' mod was overwritting it, but even merging those changes to this mods settings (removing the check AND record), when going back into game there still is no fill option on menus, I might try a few more things but im just stumped so far whats causing it. There was nothing else overwriting it in xedit.
EDIT: After a few more tries I decided to embrace Survival Mode being that we can toggle all of its features with mods here on the Nexus, we can pick & choose what aspects we want to have & the fill bottles will work. Seems to be the easy way for now. 🤷 Survival Configuration Menu https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/37599 Unlimited Survival Mode https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/26163
Doesn't seem to work? I've tried this mod before but actually it never seemed to work. I have empty bottles on me, i'm standing at a water pump, there's no option to do anything except pump it.
Yes! These are all "features" which shall had been in the game anyway, no matter which difficulty or alike.
Same like a usual "Hardcore" mode additionally like it was in New Vegas. Not only this "survival" mode, which totally got many queationable "Adjustments" and difficulty balance... (Obsidian knows how it's done compared to Bethesda)
personally I never understood why bethesda added the function to fill the waters just for survival... okay, only in survival you have the need to ''drink water'' but man, it's not much more complicated to keep the script specific ''fill with purified water'' just for survival? why not leave it to all difficulties as default? bethesda... i will never understand these guys.

Works for Fallout London too.

Anyone have any ideas why not?

What gives?
You need to do this from the sit down mode.
Also, an empty bottle and an Empty Nuke-Coke Bottle are different things and have different IDs
AND REMEMBER THAT WHEN YOU DRINK THE EMPTY DOES NOT RETURN TO YOUR INVENTORY!
I just spent 20 mins troubleshooting to find out that it was that simple.
I guess you never played survival mode once. It's completely the same thing, just you can use it on different difficulties, too.
