Absolutely amazing mod, really rewards exploration! Definitely going to be a regular in my Mod list from now on.
One note, some of the locations cannot be triggered. So far, only found two though, which is pretty good, considering the scope of the mod: I think there was a parking garage over near the "College Square" in Cambridge (I forget the area, noticed it days ago). A boat directly east of the Minutemen's Castle, waaaaaaay out in the ocean doesn't seem to trigger as well.
It's possible the location is high up in the air or way below the surface (2nd one can happen out in the water), as the "discovery" of a map marker does not happen by going in an invisible cylinder around the map marker's location, but an invisible sphere around the map marker's location.
So that 1st location is likely on an upper floor of said parking garage, and the 2nd is likely the ocean floor.
One suggestion I would have made is the crafting recipes have a condition, so that whatever name you set in the holotape, only that crafting recipe would show. Say, using a Global variable to show which one is used, default set to whatever initial one is given to the player.
I would do it myself, but couldn't get scripting to work. (btw, the creation kit is available on steam, since bethesda's servers aren't hosting it anymore)
they don't immediately show up, if you don't have the the holotape called commonwealth map markers (or something like that), you can craft it at a chemistry bench.
How well does this play with FallUI's Map? and Icons? And is it safe to add/remove midgame? Asking now that there's the new patch out for CMM. Thanks in advance!
Awesome. Well, one should theoretically only need to uninstall midgame if it didn't work well, so I'll take your endorsement and go for it. Thanks for the quick response!
(ALSO ADDED TO "BUGS", BUT COPIED HERE FOR VISIBILITY.)
Although it seems the author has long since abandoned this (great) mod, FYI for anyone reviewing these bug reports that there is in fact an issue with a fairly large number of mod-added markers (in the Commonwealth, Far Harbor, and Nuka World) that are identically named (e.g. the six different "Elevator" markers in the Commonwealth). The identical naming across several different map markers often prevents you from fast traveling to the marker(s) even after they've been fully "discovered", and also may teleport you to only one particular location on the map from within the identically-named marker group when you click on a different marker with that same name. This can be fairly easily fixed in FO4Edit for the following markers, by changing the Map Marker "FULL - Name" value for each individual marker included in the list below to completely unique names, e.g. "Animal Nest 1" and "Animal Nest 2" for the two "Animal Nest" markers within the mod's Commonwealth .esp.
FAR HARBOR: 1) ANIMAL NEST x2 2) RED ROCKET FILLING STATION x3 3) SHIPWRECK REEF x2
NUKA WORLD: 1) ANIMAL NEST x3
Also, as a much more minor issue, I happened to notice a few incorrectly spelled or labeled markers ("Oakwood Residences" should be "Pearwood Residences", "Publick Occurrances" should be "Publick Occurrences", "Mama Murphy's Appartment" should be "Mama Murphy's Apartment", "Collapsed Appartment Building" should be "Collapsed Apartment Building", and "Curious Refridgerator" should be "Curious Refrigerator" in the mod's Commonwealth plugin; "Wedding Cerimony" should be "Wedding Ceremony" in the mod's Far Harbor plugin). There are likely others, but those are the only ones I stumbled upon briefly while fixing the above major issue. Cheers!

Thanks for the warm welcome back.
I hope you all enjoy the latest version of CMM. It was a pain in the butt to rebuild. However, I think it was worth it and I hope you do as well.

Does this require a fresh game?
Thanks!
To be honest, I only used it with a new game.
edit: found another "Arcject System Engine Core" on a truck, directly east of Greater Mass Blood Clinic
