    ANNOUNCEMENT

The Nuka World saves are Live!

Either download the True Neutral save (no gang choice) or the semi-neutral save (operator and pack gang chosen.)
Sorry it took so long folks, but here it finally is. Enjoy.

The save file of Vanilla + Automatron (pre faction) is quite nice. Thanks fo the efforts. Just one small thing is a bit messy...The supply lines all start from Sanctuary. It truly freaked me out when I pressed the "Show Supply Line" button for the first time. If there's a version without existing suppy lines, that could be fantastic, but as I said it's just a small thing. Lots of thanks anyway :)

Maybe you should not get lazy and remove the built settlement

How about downloading transfer settlements and using the 'nuke settlement' option? Then you just sit back and watch the fireworks

You ARE aware that you can just tear down the settlements and build them back up the way you want, right?  These files have literally everything else you're looking for, all DLCs, no mods, a ton of legendary and non legendary items in the various containers, multiple suits of all the PA's, and a ton of scrap to rebuild any or all settlements to whatever style you want...

Just a word on this: no way is another player going to do everything the same way we would ourselves. When you stop to think about it, the settlment stuff that is there is bare bones. (Seriously? A separate little generator for nearly every powered grid/object; etc. lol And the only location tricked out is Starlight Drive-In from what I've seen so far. Some interesting and creative choices there, too.)

It might have been a good idea to turn off/store all the recruitment beacons before saving, etc. and having all the provisioners set up to run from Sanctuary causes traffic jams at times, but all this can be rectified either with console commands or the old-fashioned, "immersive" way. It's obviously an ordinary savegame, played normally, not specifically to create a downloadable savegame file, and you can't call it a complete savegame file without building up the settlements at least to the absolute minimun.

Yeah. if I were creating a savegame file specifically for download, I'd do everything settlement-oriented differently and most definitely not "romance" a NPC to keep it as generic and clean as possible (actually, I wouldn't do that anyway), but it's not my save game. It's heatedsun's savegame and that's fine for the purposes either of testing mods or just having fun with DLCs or what have you. My only other option would be to go back to 2015 and dig up/clean my one and only fully completed savegame file, if that could be done at all. Ths is more viable as I'm not sure I could even find it; did use mods back then; and my load order has changed countless times. So, thank you, heatedsun, for saving me a ton of headaches. It's an excellent testing file.

Every time I load up the file, Hancock is in the ground and I can interact with him via the tip of his hat pointing out of the ground. Easily fixed and not a bother, just... I laughed for like 5 minutes straight. Great mod; I use it for testing and developing my own!

Then there are the times his head is missing.

Just really wish neither he nor anyone else had been pursured as a romance option. I can't get rid of it. Even the setav ca_affinity 764, then do something he dislikes trick doesn't work. :(

Ok, love this file download, would double endorse if I could... I love having a nice mod-free save file with all the goodies right there when I'm testing out new mod loadouts...

I discovered something really weird. On my most recent "imma just redo my entire mod list" sessions, I load up the savegame... and the gilded grasshopper is sitting on top of the one dresser.  I knew of it's existence, but never actually got it in one of my own playthru's... so I just took note of it, and went back to testing out mods.

I then noticed it's not there anymore.  Loaded up a 100% mod-free session (no esp/esl's, no texture swaps, 100% pure vanilla).... no grasshopper.  Loaded up various combos of mods, since I couldn't remember which exact setup I was testing when I noticed the grasshopper... no go.

Anyone else run across this oddity?  It's no biggie, doesn't break anything as far as I'm concerned... it's just... one of those weird little mysteries that will bug me (pun intended)

A bit late to the party, but this is a vanilla thing. If and when the gilded grasshopper disappears, you can find it again right where you found it the first time: atop Faneuil Hall. No idea why it decides to go back home sometimes, but there it is.
