I wish I had search option to know if anyone had experienced same issue. Ahem... My first install was ok, long scopes were giving me 3person small dot in the centre of my screen. However, I found the mod pretty inconvenient without separating switching poses/exiting cover. My first thought at the moment was to install Hotkeys to see if there is a separating solution. There isn't, as far as I saw. I reinstalled this mod without hotkeys and got this issue - aiming makes me exit cover. I tried to reinstall several times and it didn't help/ Nevertheless, randomly, I fixed it. I don't know how... So it will be very nice of you to explain me what was that
This mod doesnt seem to work with another life- alternate start mod. The config wont pop up in the aid for some reason. I fixed it by installing take cover after I had loaded in and picked everything from another life.
I can't exit / back from Aid/Take cover configuration menu. Tab, Esc, Space doent work?!! I can only reset game and start again. I cant delete the post..I have extra wide screen mod, and some things are overlappig,didnt see scroll down arrow :/ Menu is longer - exit at the bottpom, sorry.
I love this mod. I would keep this installed BUT - Every time I go into cover, and leave it. My 3rd person camera is fucked up and centered, so it is NOT originally, without the mod, where it was. The 3rd person camera for "cover" is perfect, it is just after I leave it, my normal 3rd person cam is messed up and centered. I really do love the mod, just having this issue.
Same here. This mod somehow overrides any camera settingss. Using the settings commands given would fix a little but won't revert back to your previous camera settings. You gonna have to live with it I guess

I had no hand in it. But I do think that you'd be better served not stirring up back-and-forths because it can end if you want it to. They deal with hundreds of people every day ( just check the forum I linked! ) so why keep it in an unending loop? I mean - yeah, I'm one person, so its easy to keep coming here and you'll be talking to the same guy, but they're a whole team - you would't even know who you're trying to get a hold of!
I'm having an issue with uninstalling, I have used the console command and completely uninstalled the mod/removed the archive through vortex, however the double tap feature still persists changing my third person view to centered as if I have entered cover. I know this thread is mostly MIA but any help would be appreciated, in the meantime I will continue to look for fixes on my own and provide any update.
Ok, got to the bottom of the issue, I had installed the See Through Scopes mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9476) with the plugin for Take Cover. I figured disabling the plugin after uninstalling Take cover would have sufficed but it didn't, I fixed the problem by simply doing a complete reinstall of See Through Scopes.
