tbh...., nearly 10yrs later and this is still a 100% goto into my load order.
It's simple and does not irritate the stupid game engine with fancy mesh edits, it's extremely useful and actually quite the right size for me. (despite, one can always edit the size or connections, see posts below)
And after all, it's actually the only el. post mod as far as I know.
One possible solution for those that just want to put up these poles and connect multiple wires to them, use place anywhere and sink connectors into the poles so just the tip that connects the wires sticks out and then you can have multiple. It sucks that it would count towards the build max, but there are plenty of mods to work around that. I hope what I'm saying made sense.
Erm, for the benefit of people who still read in the future: the mod is: PLACE EVERYWHERE.
But this is an excellent idea. With Place Everywhere, you can hide the crap if you can't fix it, kind of like assholes painting over rust before they sell their old car but Better make sure you don't have to move your new pole afterwards or you'll haveto re-place everything again. You can also scale these up/down if you need to.
These are reported by Nexus user ArcaneScroll to be vertically around 50% smaller than the ones seen in the commonwealth, scaled down in the workshop by the game for some reason. So no need to worry about pixelation when scaling upwards.
If not interested in the mod (you should), open console, select your pole with a left click and setScale is the command, try a number between 1-10. Where 1 is 100% and negatives shrink it if I remembered correctly. Can't test it with the console right now (I never scaled these when I played) but I never remember stumbling on a piece I wasn't able to scale up or down that could be selected and edited otherwise.
For example: setScale 2.7 | setScale 3 | setScale 1.25
Shoot, sorry for flubbing the name. Thanks for the idea of scaling them down as well, I didn't even think of that but it would really hide them better. Cheers!
Yeah, I mean scaling is integrated into PE and I still keep forgetting to use it from time-to-time. But it does have quite abit of features to remember anyway.
Got to find/have that inspiration and flow of ideas, I guess!!!
FOR ANYBODY LOOKING INTO/WONDERING ABOUT THIS MOD IN THE FUTURE (THE ONES WHO STILL READ):
So these are reported by Nexus user ArcaneScroll to be vertically around 50% smaller than the ones seen in the commonwealth, scaled down in the workshop by the game for some reason.
These are still higher than vanilla base game electric poles in the workshop!
You can scale up/down with the Place Everywhere mod, which you should be using for building anway but if not, open console, select your pole with a left click and setScale is the command, try a number between 1-10, where 1 is 100% and negatives shrink it if I remembered correctly. Can't test it with the console right now (I never scaled these when I played) but I never remember stumbling on a piece I wasn't able to scale up or down that could be selected and edited otherwise.

Only one wire per pole even though some could be used for multiple connections in more than one direction (pole 4) such poles 3, 4, 5 and 6? Pole 1 has bits of metal floating not attached to anything and pole 2 has superfluous bits of metal that seem to appear only after a 7 - 31 day reset. Missed opportunity this one...
"Only one wire per pole" Take it to the people that code fallout. you cannot have more than one wire snap. "Pole 1 has bits of metal floating not attached to anything and pole 2 has superfluous bits of metal that seem to appear only after a 7 - 31 day reset" The rest is nonsense.
Well obviously had I known the there could only be one wire snap point per object I wouldn't have mentioned it. Are you every modders white knight or something? Shame there's no block on this site...

Don't worry, maybe he'll block you from all his mods on this site.
I like you and your mods, Ethreon, but you really have to stop chiming in on every single comments section white knighting for modders that aren't asking you to. You're not a moderator, just chill out. It's easy to ignore stupid posts, but not when you come along and turn them into 10 entry threads because you want to pick a fight with everyone. You are making it harder for the people that actually read before asking dumb questions to dig through the comments section because every few comments you are having a pointless argument with someone. I would also point out that just a few posts down, you were commenting on the same issue with the poles not having multiple connections, and I loved your solution, but attacking this guy for no reason isn't needed or wanted by anyone here.
I am legitimately perplexed because i have always been able to snap more than one wire to vanilla connections? This one wire per snap thing is news to me....
Because you need to re-read what I said - you cannot have multiple wire SNAP POINTS on the same mesh. It has nothing to do with how many wires you can snap to one item, that has no limit, but they will all snap to the same place.

Why is this called white knighting? TBH the op post is obviously made without thinking and no knowledge, he said about things he doesn't even know about yet act like he's like a "mod critic" or some sort, and that looks dumb enough to me(if that doesn't looks dumb to you then maybe you're the same party with the guy). "Missed opportunity this one ..." LMAO opportunity for what? best mod of the month? highest endorsement mod of all time? Dont be such a clown!
What a hilarious chain of posts. Damn, wish I wasn't so late to the party! xD - BUT -
If you're a person who still reads things:
If someone thinks it's difficult to find things from a list with lots of entries or a flooded chain of posts, you might benefit from basic computer lessons for kids. They taught us (me) in elementry school (PC user here) to press and hold the Ctrl -button, then (while holding down Ctrl) press the F -button once to bring up a search. Then think (if you can) of keywords and forms that would be in what you're looking for. These functions support matching whole words, case and diacritics and you can EVEN highlight every result AT THE SAME TIME! OMG :-O Incredible!!!!! Can you believe it?????!!! OMG WTF No more reading dozens of posts/pages just to realize tehre was nothing! Who the hell even reads anymore?! Reading is for loosers, right?!

Gosh, that's psychedelic, baby! Probably best to not use pole #2. Still plenty of them left, though.
DON'T WANT TO MISS OUT ON OPPORTUNITES ? Yeah couple of poles are litte bit dodgy but thats on Bethesda and, hopefully, we can use our imagination, challenge our creativity and cover the problematic areas by putting/building extra pieces on to the poles, like I do, (I don't actually use the problematic ones but I add shite to them anyway 'cause I can) just whatever looks cool and I put in extra vanilla/base game power connectors which was my first thought when I saw these. How? My God, there's mods for that, my friend. The kinds you can't live without once you try 'em. With Place Everywhere, you can hide the crap if you can't fix it, kind of like assholes painting over rust before they sell their old car. Better make sure you don't have to move your new pole(s) afterwards or you'll haveto re-place everything again.
POLE HEIGHT NOT HIGH ENOUGH ? If you think these aren't tall enough, which is a little weird, sorry, you can scale these up/down with the Place Everywhere mod or try scaling with a console command if not interested in the mod, though you should be. On survival, console can be enabled with a mod. Open console, left click to select your new pole, enter setScale is the command and try a number (use decimals with a dot, if you need to) between 1-10 where 1 is 100% and negatives shrink if I remembered correcly. For example: setScale 1.25
I know it's alot of hard work and you might die or wish to but... We've got to try something. IF you're worried about these becoming pixelated due to scaling them up, Nexus user ArcaneScroll reported here that these are already scaled down vertically by 50% (automatically by the game for some reason) so no worries about terrible pixelation.
Problems solved and doing it this way, having to bother, is actually better for your brain than having to do less or nothing. Why do anything at all? Might be a problem for your soulless soul if you're just that kind of a person who'd rather sit around, have everything brought to them while atrophying away and dying.

I'm using a -50% power radius for the vanilla connectors...
Would the same be possible for these?
Thanks for these, anyway!
They are GREAT for settlement builds because they are tall and don't take up much space around them. The height is esp. good with a mod that extends the lenght of the power lines.
JUL '21 EDIT/UPDATE:
Gosh, what a moron I was back then. *ROLLING EYES*
Must have been hitting hard on the sauce... Can't remember. But these are still higher than vanilla base game electric poles.
there is a way to grab those boston conection assets and made a snap for electricity?, it would be nice for homes for example, you put that into the wall behind the house and connect wires
