I refactored the used scripts in version 1.7. To make sure the old script will be removed from your savegame, I also changed the form ids of all vault elevators. That means you will have to place them again in your settlements.
If you are updating from version 1.5 or older you should take back all the items you stored inside the vault workshop, as they will now reference directly to the exterior workshop. If you have already updated and lost some items, you can try going back to version 1.5 and use a save before updating this mod.
If you are updating from version 1.3 or older delete the following files: ... / Fallout 4 / Meshes / DarthWayne / Vault / ... ... / Fallout 4 / Scripts / DWVaultTeleportPlayerScript.pex
In case you are inside the vault you may have to exit and reenter it to get the new categories in your workshop menu.

I vaguely remember the mods having the vault door working, is that a different mod or only a xbox thing? That and you had to get the "vault creation kit" from the HQ.\ Edit: it was instant vault mod by bad.
I was able to get the DLC to 'work' with this mod.
I had placed a small hallway using pieces from this mod then added a door to the end of it. Then I removed the piece at the end, leaving the door floating in space. Then I had placed the DLC doorway on the door and it lined up with the mod's entrance.
However, the door that I used seems to be rather specific. In my game, I was able to use the Automatic Sliding Door from both this mod and Vault 88 Essentials. I tried with a few other doors but wasn't able to get the same result, but I didn't try all of them.
So you can use this method to align the segments up together, so far I haven't had any issues from doing this.
Just tested this, as I was hoping to get this running with Fallout London, but the mod does seem to be functioning as intended..
When the mod author states:
The following settlements have a craftable vault:
Abernathy Farm
Greentop Nursery
Hangmans Alley
Jamaica Plain
Kingsport Lighthouse
Red Rocket
Sanctuary Hills
Spectacle Island
Starlight Drive-In
Sunshine Tidings Coop
The Castle
They mean those are the ONLY settlements you're able to create the vault door. Any other settlements and you won't be able to see or place the vault door itself, like what @PrimeConey was stating. I've also tested Instant Vault and it appears that it doesn't function in the London world space either.
I came to the comments section for this very reason. I was hoping to build my own since the spaces arent nearly big enough for what I'd usually do in a playthrough on fo4.
just want to let you know that i tinkered with the standard vault objects and was able to build a fully functional vault with this mod (abernathy farm). i used only the entrance part (special menu) of the mod to have a functional entrance to the vault and the work bench (image added)
When i open the workshop menu and place down the vault frame there is no door, then if i go back to workshop menu it has completley disappeared from the menu
a sad thing when using old unsupported mods, yea unfortunately as you can see the mod author has not updated this mod in a LONG time, so things aren't gonna work like they did back when the mod first came out, it sucks but hey we at least got the official DLC by Bethesda
