i haven't found one god damn Nick Valentine face mod that actually fking works. Is this mother fucker just immune to face changes?!?!?! like what the f*#@ bro. The only thing i can change are his damn eyes!
Worked for me, following Londrandir1974's method but without renaming texture files. Quoting:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [...] then in your Fallout 4 folder, go to I'm using MO2, so I've just installed this mod, then opened in file explorer. So the relative path should be the following, if your MO2 installation is set to default:
{YOUR_MO2_PATH}\mods\Nick Valentine Android Face Texture\textures\actors\character\facecustomization\fallout4.esm You'll see these files:
00002f24_d.dds 00002f24_msn.dds 00002f24_s.dds
Copy these to this folder that should be located next to character folder:
{YOUR_MO2_PATH}\mods\Nick Valentine Android Face Texture\textures\actors\Synths--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Additional infos: I'm not using any other mod for Nick, be sure to check if you have any conflict if it doesn't work for you.
Same I followed the steps and copied, renamed, dropped the renamed files in Data>textures>actors>synths and have no other mods effecting Nick...Ahhh makes me sad
This mod used to work (before recent updates I guess), but here's how I got the Nick Valentine Android textures to show up in my game. Install the mod normally, then in your Fallout 4 folder, go to:
Data>textures>actors>character>facecustomization>fallout4.esm You'll see these files:
00002f24_d.dds 00002f24_msn.dds 00002f24_s.dds
Copy these to your desktop (or wherever you like). Re-name the files like this:
Couldn't find the folder so I just used the files provided by the mod, copied them, renamed them and put them back into the synth folder of the mod and it worked perfectly. So going into the game's folder isn't even necessary, you can just use the files provided by the mod - for the mod :)
If you glance at the thumbnail you can see what he's talking about to a degree. its the way the light comes off his face's structure. it comes across as feminine to a degree but it is a tad bit of a stretch that you have to look for.
I would love this mod if I could ever get it to work. The eye textures are appearing but the face is not. I tried looking through here to see if I could find a fix but nothing worked. If anybody else has a different solution i'll come back for this mod. :)

Here you go. Hope this helps.
Data>textures>actors>character>facecustomization>fallout4.esm
You'll see these files:
00002f24_d.dds
00002f24_msn.dds
00002f24_s.dds
Copy these to your desktop (or wherever you like). Re-name the files like this:
Gen2SkinHeadValentine_d.DDS
Gen2SkinHeadValentine_n.DDS
Gen2SkinHeadValentine_s.DDS
So, for example, "00002f24_d.dds" gets re-named (without quote marks): "Gen2SkinHeadValentine_d.DDS" and so on.
Copy/paste these 3 files (overwrite if prompted) to:
Data>textures>actors>synths
Enjoy :)
XD LOL
I am sorry if this kind of hateful and racist commenting has offended/triggered any actual skinhead players here.
Anyway, thanks for this fix, Londrandir1974, kudos!
