Before reporting any crashes:

• You must download and install the latest Visual C++ x86 and x64 and .NET desktop.
• You must have 32GB system memory, internal SSD and increase virtual memory to 40GB or more
• You must set shader cache to 10GB or more in Nvidia/AMD control panel
• You must disable auto-save in game to avoid entry/exit crashes, do not use Quick Save ever
  

To report crashes, drop a crash log from Documents\My Games\Fallout 4 VR\F4SE on Discord support channel.  Please update FRIK to the latest version and also install Alandtse's Memory Limit Expander, I will be updating this list later this year to include these two small mods that improve late game stability.

To be sure it is not one of your own mods that caused the issue, you must restore the list to the original load order:

1) Restore original modlist with back arrow on Mods tab, choose the earliest backup the modlist shipped with
2) Restore original plugin order with the back arrow on Plugins tab, choose the earliest backup the modlist shipped with
3) Right click on overwrite in the bottom to clear it

If this fixes your crash, turn on your changes one at a time to find the problem.

Additional Checks

• Leave everything in the modlist on default. Don't EVER use Loot Sort or Enable All
• Reboot your PC, things do get stuck in memory especially on GPU driver crashes

• Whitelist antivirus/defender on MO2 folder/Fallout 4 VR folder, disable it just to be sure to test
• Reset/clean install your GPU drivers and Steam VR, set all settings to default, close as many background programs as possible
• Disable any overclock or undervolt on CPU/GPU
• Use Virtual Desktop and Steam VR for maximum stability and compatibility, do not mess with Open Composite until later
  

1.2 Known Issues

• Turning on flashlight while opening inventory has a chance of crashing your game, same as vanilla Fallout 4 VR
• VR Weapon Overhaul has done a ton of calibration on weapons, scopes and sights but not every attachment works and there are minor bugs with some guns. Use the Westtek Scope created by the author for most accurate scopes, or use a weapon that works better for you
• DLSS/DLAA will crash the game if you use a sniper scope
