With continued development alongside bug fixes, I aim to work on the following features (not in priority order). Newly added plans are in green text.
- Remote assign settlers to artillery (to save trying to find one to assign to it) - initial implementation in v1.0.0
- Options to have standardised outfits for settlers tasked as artillerymen - initial implementation in v1.0.0
- Illum IR flares to work with night vision devices
- Development of chemical and smoke rounds to add variety - initial implementation in v1.0.0
- A system to automatically set fire mission settings based on hostile targets in area
- Option to use smoke flares to call emergency fire missions - initial implementation in v1.0.0
- Improvements to the firing code to give a better spread of rounds around targets. Mimicking real life concentrations - initial implementation in v1.0.0
- Ability to have composite fire missions mixing munition types - initial implementation in v1.0.0
- Audio cues as fire mission progresses
- Different bombardment patterns (creeping barrage for example) as opposed to just circular bombardments
- Additional ways to acquire artillery ammunition other than just crafting (vendors, world, workshop DLC etc) - initial implementation in v1.0.0
