Features

This list is incomplete, as at this point it is almost impossible to write every thing down that this mod changes. It is simply too much :D

MCM

  • The newly added MCM menu allows you to (de)activate and configure certain features in FROST
  • Check it out in game for more information.

Power Armor
  • Power Armors are now harder to get in general, they are often locked behind more difficult locks and terminal entries
  • Certain Power Armors at locations have been changed or been removed
  • Power Armors provide Poison Immunity if a full set of Power Armor is worn
  • Power Armors give sneak debuffs and agility debuffs
  • Power Armors are harder to repair (Perk Requirements and more crafting components)

Items
  • Enables and renames previously unavailable weapons and armors (Tesla Rifle, Overboss Power Armor, ...)
  • Levelled Lists tweaks, mainly de-levelling Levelled Lists in the style of FROST
  • There are now meat recipes that require less meat (only for big creatures), this recipes are balanced
  • Strange/Mystery Meat has been remodelled and renamed (no more weird insect meat, now it
    resembles stuff that looks like it could come from a human...The new names are based on previous fallout games, like Strange Meat Paste)
  • New Crafting Recipes and items (Camouflage Paints, Health items, Mushroom/Fungus food items,...)
  • Balanced Far Harbor Sludge Items
  • Water Filters can be crafted now
  • Enabled certain paints and weapon mods from the Nuka-World DLC
  • New armors and clothes
  • A brand new hallucination system which was created in cooperation with
    Naugrim04.

Settlements

  • Far Harbor Settlements can be used now (for lore and balancing reasons you can't place a Settlement Beacon there!)
  • Enabled Robot Workbench (needs a schematic that can be found)
  • Enabled Eyebot Pod (needs a schematic that can be found)
  • Added a new workshop objects and mechanics to make the pickpocket perk more viable
  • You can now own Settlements while having the Wanderer Perk without losing its benefits. If you try to use the Workshop mode though, you will get damage. This hinders you from building settlements if you use this perk

Quality of Life
  • New Crafting Categories at the Cooking Bench so that the roast category isn't as long as before
  • Added new alternative recipes for certain food items
  • Removed uncraftable recipes (mostly Strange/Mystery Meat stuff, because certain
    meat items are not available in FROST, like the Mirelurk Queen meat)
  • Edited a few random encounters to make them lore friendly
  • The workbenches at Andrew Station are now linked together

Locations
  • Enabled previously inaccessible locations
  • Changed Far Harbor (the town) to Bar Harbor and changed a few things there
  • Renamed certain locations and settlements to make them lore friendly
  • Certain previously unobtainable Magazines can now be obtained/accessed

Lore & Immersion
  • Changed/removed vanilla notes and terminals
  • Renamed Diamond City Radio
  • Changed some loading screens to make them FROST friendly
  • The Glowing Sea is now more interesting (more lore and items)
  • There are finally notes and journals about Deathclaws now. Vanilla FROST doesn't have a single note mentioning Deathclaws
  • New characters and journals
  • Settlers won't talk about Goodneighbour or Diamond City anymore

Gameplay
  • New Perks! (Only if you use LevelUpMenuEx. New Perks are: Iron Lung, Communistic Wisdom, Fenway Swinger)
  • One of the new perks makes 2-handed melee weapons swing faster, so you can now use them against Feral Ghouls effectively
  • Balanced a few perks (Hunter Rank 2, K9 Trainer, VANS, ...)
  • Changed Shotgun spread! Shotguns don't spread like crazy any more, and are now
    scaling with the Gunslinger Perk instead of the Rifleman perk (this was
    done to make the gunslinger perk more attractive)
  • Hallucinations can now be encountered if you are insane (currently disabled, it isn't ready yet)
  • Overhaul of the Far Harbor Hallucination (this is included already, just go kiss
    a Mirelurk Queen Spirit Hallucination and see what happens)
  • Balanced Far Harbor Sludge Items
  • Certain interior locations have atmospheric radiation now, so you need a gas mask in these locations
  • Shotguns shoot more pellets now (16 instead of 8)
  • Ricochet Perk is now better for FROST
  • Soft Drinks (VIM, Nuka-Cola) now quench a bit of thirst
  • Certain water related items have a chance of returning an empty bottle

Bug Fixes And Removal Of Oversights:

There are a ton of bug fixes in this mod, I don't remember every thing I've fixed, so this list is incomplete.
  • Removed uncraftable recipes (mostly Strange/Mystery Meat stuff, because certain
    meat items are not available in FROST, like the Mirelurk Queen meat)
  • Fixed Fungal Purge Bug
  • Fixed Alliance Armor Bug
  • Fixed Blight Brew
  • Enabled certain paints and weapon mods from the Nuka-World DLC
  • Buffed the Lever Action Rifle, and de-leveled its weapon mods (survivors with
    this weapon whave a chance of having high level weapon mods even on
    lower player level)
  • Fixed Disciples Blade bug (it now has it's intended name)
  • Renamed certain items (and changes some of their models) to make them lore firiendly
  • Renamed certain locations to make them FROST lore friendly (Warwick Homestead,
    the Slog, Abernathy Farm, Crater of Atom and some other locations now
    have FROST friendly names)
  • Added Gas Mask filter to certain power armors
  • Removed a few locations that would give the player purified water for free
  • Flagged certain player perk as invisible (so that they player won't have empty perk entries in the Pip Boy)
  • K9 Trainer Ranks are fixed, you don't need the FROST LevelUpMenu K9 Trainer patch if you use LevelUpMenuEx
  • Removed/changed certain vanilla Holotapes and Terminal Entries
  • Fixed Acadia doors
  • Fixed a few legendary enemy spawns
  • Certain beds are not owned any more, and can be used by the player.
  • Renamed the hanging radstags containers from Far Harbor
  • Balanced the Water pumps, there was a exploit that could give people a stable supply of clean water without problems
  • Renamed a few settlement items
  • Fixed the crash if you crafted the Boat Parts in Far Harbor
  • Changed the texture of certain BoS Flags to make them lore friendly
  • Renamed Rad Rabbits to just rabbits
  • Fixed some NPC oversights
  • Removed Salem Mirelurk Quest bug
  • Fixed a bug in the Insanity perk
  • Bear Meat Bug was removed
  • Way over 50 holotapes/journals/terminals that still had their vanilla content were either changed or removed
