*Quests Tags* is a very simple mod that prefixes quests with keywords
It covers the Main Game and the DLCs, and a very few complementary mods but leaves many others unsupported.

Since the amont of mods to cover is too huge for me, the community can easily cover them with few steps.

How it works - The basics

I used ©Bethesda's Creation Kit (CK) to collect all quests from the main mod & the DLCs, but be at ease, you won't need it to create a patch for quests tags.
In fact, for the few patches supported I just edited the quests labels, so only the very basics of mod editing/translating is required.

There are two ways to support tags to a mod :

A) Do an overriding mod
Its the easiest and quickest way. Open the plugins of the mod with a translator, then edit the labels, save it ... and voila.

Translators :
* xTranslator
* ESP-ESM Translator

B) Do a proper patch
Some times it's better to provide something more specific, more focused instead of managing the whole mod. In that case you'll prefer a mod editor which will help you to create a proper patch.

Mod editor :
* FO4Edit
* ©Bethesda's Creation Kit

How do I add tags ?

For quests, the tags are simple text that you add to a label (see before). You can use existings tags or create your own.
The tags used by quests tags are listed in the main page of this mod and in the <!-- Quests Tags --> section  in  ~Fallout 4/Data/interface/DEF_CONF/DEF_INV_TAGS.xml  file.

The DEF_INV_TAGS file is provided by DEF_UI  and others mods that alter the inventory as inventory sorters (VIS, VIS-G, BIS, ...) or Quests Tags.
Only tags within [ ] or ( ) are supported by DEF_UI, that's why all the quests tags are embeded in [ ].

How to customize icons/tags ?

To activate icons in the inventory,  DEF_UI is REQUIRED.
Without DEF_UI you'll only see the tag. DEF_UI provide mechanisme to replace or add an icon to a tag.

Take a look on how to Customizing DEF_UI if you want to add/alter icons or tags display.
