alright i have a bit of a problem here... i had the T51b DX High Res installed(the one with longer elbow pads and knee pads) before i uninstalled the game
now recently i reinstaled the game downloaded this same file again, but some of the details that i remembered are no longer there (that is the longer elbow and knee pads it only has the short ones like in the screenshots), am i going crazy? if my memory serves me right this mod had those details which i really loved
can anyone help me?
i tried reinstalling but it doesnt show those details help me please :(
If you use both the T-51b variants, you NEED the compatibility plugin provided.
INSTALL MANUALLY, DO NOT USE A MOD MANAGER AT ALL.
First install T-51b DX, then Winterized DX. Install the Winterized DX "NEEDED MESHES" last.
Now ONLY use the WinterizedT51bDX.esp from the compatibility download. It's the only .esp you need, even though you use both. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE COMPATIBILITY PLUGIN, AND NOT THE ORIGINAL WINTERIZED DX PLUGIN. THEY HAVE THE SAME PLUGIN NAME.
I can get ti not glowing, but it changes its stats so it wont work with FWE as that changes power armor stats, when I load this one plugin, the compatibility patch you indicated, before the OA DLC plugin so the FWE stats work, it glows, is there A fix for this?
I don't think that is possible. The mod replaces only two meshes and two texture.. Do not install it via NMM just put the directory named "t-51b.." in the proper place...
As of August 14, 2013, this mod STILL fucks up my textures for the Winterized Armor. How hard is it to make SEPERATE textures for the two armors? I don't understand. They use two different texture paths, so why don't they work together? I used the T-51b DX ALONE and it made the Winterized version a glowing heap of scrap and when I used both of them with BOTH the compatibility .esp's it had the same effect. Even the bornagain textures don't work with the winterized. It's getting a little annoying because this is the armor that STARTED fallout and fallout's connection to power armor. Now I have to use the bland low-res vanilla textures because neither of the really cool textures for this mod seem to work.
Hi man, awesome armors, i personally like most the bos armor - Steel DX - looks realistic, without that childish glow eff..
Also lot of others armors are pretty nice, but lot of the details are dissappearing in the dark shade of armor.. If thus armor, enclave, outcast, ... , armors would be a little brither, the bellievable effect to a player would be 100 times stronger...Even the faded and old metal are little shining on sun...
Simply - your DX armors are too dark :-)
Try to make a brighter versions - at least like SteelDX, it would be the most realistic. believe me :-)
