Brief Description
This mod is for fun only and is not intended as a cheating tool.
The Groovatron Weapon:
⦁ A unique multifunction weapon. Brings up a menu when you shoot an NPC (Groovify Menu)
⦁ Combat reaction is inhibited by effect script (should not be used on some NPCs - see list)
⦁ The “Groovy Groovatron” perk becomes active when The Groovatron is equipped. This completely negates health damage caused by The Groovatron (NPC will be slightly healed)
Groovy Snacks:
⦁ Assign [Groovy Snacks] to a hotkey to use
⦁ Use Groovy Snacks in 3rd person cam mode to Groovify (1st person for Groovy Settings)
⦁ Groovifying the player character gives you unique options (teleporting, visual effects)
Groovy Gear:
⦁ Includes a Disco Ball, MP3 Player, Groovy Orb, and Movable Light
FOSE users get tons of extras. See the FOSE EXTRAS heading.
Unexpected results may occur if you shoot these NPCs: (Use FOSE method instead)
⦁ Groups: Oasis residents, Reilly’s Rangers, The Family, Arefu residents, ANY Slavers, Temple of the Union members, Andale residents (except for Junior Smith and Jenny Wilson)
⦁ Misc: Patients, Roy Phillips, Bessie Lynn, Michael Masters, Megaton Brahmin, & possibly others

Incompatible With
Facial expressions may not be compatible with mods that modify Data\_male\skeleton.nif or idle animations.
⦁ This mod changes game setting: fcombatyieldtime from "10" to "0" (There was a good reason for this, I'm sure :p)
⦁ If you have FOSE: Unequipping The Groovatron restores fcombatyieldtime to 10

APPENDIX A: Frequently Asked Questions / Troubleshooting
================================================================================
How do I change settings or keybindings?
With FOSE: Tap 0 (Zero).
Without FOSE: Assign [Groovy Snacks] a hotkey, exit your Pip-Boy, then press the hotkey you assigned while in first person camera mode.
Why won’t umpa animations work?
Reason: F3 Umpa Animation is not installed.
Fix: Download and install F3 Umpa Animation - http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=634
Why won’t facial expressions work?
Reason 1: Modified Idles and Skeleton for Facial Expressions is not installed.
Fix: Download this from the same site as The Groovatron, under “Optional Files”.
Reason 2: You are using a mod that changes Data\_male\skeleton.nif or idle animations.
Fix: Disable the offending mod and install Modified Idles and Skeleton for Facial Expressions.
Help! The NPC I shoot with The Groovatron becomes hostile! What do I do?
Do Not Use The Groovatron on These NPCs: (Use FOSE method instead)
⦁ Groups: Oasis residents, Reilly’s Rangers, The Family, Arefu residents, ANY Slavers, Temple of the Union members, Andale residents (except for Junior Smith and Jenny Wilson)
⦁ Misc: Patients, Roy Phillips, Bessie Lynn, Michael Masters, Megaton Brahmin, & possibly others
Reload your saved game. If that is not possible, this mod may help: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/7635
Why do nearby NPCs sometimes start to run when I shoot someone with The Groovatron?
Reason: NPC sends an "assault alarm" which sometimes causes nearby NPCs to react this way.
Fix: Mostly fixed. Will sometimes still happen. NPC will eventually resume normal behaviour.
Why does the NPC I shoot with The Groovatron clear their throat, whistle, hum, etc?
Reason: I make them do this so they won't shout "Assault" etc. Sometimes they might still shout.
Fix: None. This response to attack is set in code.
Why does the NPC I shoot with The Groovatron scowl at me?
Reason: You just shot them.
Fix: None known. This response is set in code.
Why do animations sometimes not start, complete, or look strange?
Reason: The NPC is moving, performing another action, or has their weapon drawn.
Fix: Restrain the NPC with the "Toggle Restrained" option, wait for current action to finish, or select "Draw/Holster Weapon".
How do I keep the NPC (or player) from sinking into the ground during poses?
Fix: Open the console with the tilde “`” key and type "tfik" to turn Foot IK OFF.
How do I get dances/animations/poses to stop?
Answer: Select [Stop Animation/Pose] from menu or re-select the animation currently being performed.
I’m missing The Groovatron, Groovy Snacks, Disco Ball, MP3 Player, Movable Light, or Groovy Orb.
Fix: Open the console with the tilde “`” key, then:
If you have FOSE: type “set GroovyFOSEQuest.addingitems to 1”
If you don’t have FOSE: type “set GroovyNONFOSEQuest.addingitems to 1”
Exit the console and wait several seconds then check your inventory.
The MP3 Player will not work.
Reason: The MP3 Player will not play mp3 files over 9 megabytes.
The Disco Ball is invisible.
Reason: Using the disco ball in interiors may cause this to happen.
Fix: Disable the disco ball. Save and exit the game. Launch FO3 and load the saved game.
What if I have a different problem, a bug to report, or a good idea?
Answer: Drop me a message (DraykCannon) at Nexus Forums.

APPENDIX B: Using the Console to Animate/Pose
================================================================================
Animations and poses can be activated manually with the console. Open the console and type “tfik”. This keeps everything aligned and above the ground. Then click on an NPC. Ensure the NPC’s name appears at the top of your screen. Sometimes the game can make selecting an NPC this way nearly impossible. If you run into this problem, move the NPC or try from a different angle.
To animate the player character, you must first go into third person camera mode and then type “tfc” in the console to toggle fly-camera. Exit the console, use the WSAD keys to move the camera, then enter the console and click on your character. Alternately, type “prid 14”.
Once the NPC or player’s name appears at the top of the screen, type “playidle xx” and exit the console. Replace the “xx” with one of the following:

APPENDIX C: Vanilla Fallout 3 Animations
================================================================================
Here are some vanilla “Fallout 3” idle and special idle animations that you can use with the “Playidle” command as described in Appendix B. Some of these idles cannot be stopped by normal methods. To stop these, Groovify the NPC and “Toggle Restrained” twice. Any misspellings are purely intentional.
