Thinking of trying to make a semi modder's resource version so people can make their own similar broadcasts with min effort/skills. So many different language speakers and all this kind of stuff is in English. Pity, because they're fun mods. x-1 for example
This is very cool, but is there any chance you could just make a mod that adds a radio station that plays this? I'd love to just be travelling around listening to it.
That's what it is, but giving that its one full show, I added the functionality to have some control over which part plays too. Otherwise you'd be coming in at random parts every game restart and would be hard to follow the show.

Ah, I see. My bad. You're right about it coming in at random points. Damn. It'd be nice if there was a mechanism where a channel started content when we opened it. I didn't think about the fact that if it's a radio station it could start anywhere. Anyway, it's still wonderful. I remember as a little kid my parents wouldn't let me have a tv in my room, but I had a radio and I'd get these cassettes that were everything from WC Fields comedy sketches to this War of the Worlds broadcast. I'd fall asleep to them every night. Good memories and thanks for the mod.

Something like this happened in England in the 1980s I believe? A BBC1 broadcast was mistaken for being real and got people worked into a frenzy. And in the US it was a "what if" style fake news broadcast for a nuclear terrorist attack that tricked people.

Combining two of my favorite things, Fallout and WotW!
The scripts for these mods are pretty adaptable for new shows, so thinking of adding more. Open to suggestions.
