About this mod
This preset is the successor to my previous preset Golden Wasteland, in terms of color balancing, and other segments that make each of these presets unique. See for yourself!

This Reshade preset is the successor to my previous preset Golden Wasteland.
Although this preset isn't as vibrant as my previous, I feel as if its concept of realism and bleakness contributes to more of a vanilla feel by utilizing Clarity and Fallout 3 Realistic Wasteland Lighting, ultimately creating what I feel like is the best preset made for Fallout 3.
Bold claim, I know..

Installation
Just like my previous preset, there are a couple thing you must do to make sure everything looks as it should.
First and foremost, you may have to add a custom monitor profile, or adjust Reshade if it's too colorful, sharp, not bright enough, or even too bright. All monitors are different! Adjust accordingly.
Secondly, if you're using an Nvidia GPU or AMD GPU, navigate to your GPU's designated control center
(i.e. Nvidia Control Panel or AMD Adrenaline) and make sure you have Ambient Occlusion set to the highest quality available, as well as turn on Antialiasing to whatever you can handle. (This is optional)

Thirdly..
Download Reshade via the link provided if you don't have it already.
Once downloaded, open Reshade and select Fallout 3.exe.
Select DX9.
Select ALL Reshade Options. (You can do this at the top right)
Move Dire Wasteland.ini into your Fallout 3 directory.
Make sure HDR is enabled in your Fallout 3 Launcher.
Open your game normally and load your desired save.
Press your home button and go through or skip the tutorial.
Find where it says Reshade preset at the top and click it.
Find Dire Wasteland.ini and select it. (Double click on it)
Lastly..
make sure to turn OFF HDR and turn on Bloom in the Fallout 3 Launcher to get the closest results!

MAKE SURE CLARITY OVERWRITES REALISTIC WASTELAND LIGHTING GOTY IN YOUR LOAD-ORDER, WHETHER THAT BE VORTEX, NEXUS, OR MOD ORGANIZER!
(Also, make sure only one .esp is active when using Fallout 3 Realistic Wasteland Lighting.)
