The ambition atm is to get the huge overhaul mod True Open World DC https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/84575 This is awesome. Been playing it in ttw. Actually nearly finished converting this one. Was very hard.
Also a couple of other tricky ones: Caravan Guard TTW https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/84567 Very good extra content. Voiced too. A lot of nv assets used so not sure if I can get around it.
May I request Vanilla 1st Person Locomotion Fixes to be added? I know that you can just install it from the NV page, but it's much more comfortable to contain FO3 mods in the FO3 page.
Sounds awesome. By quick testing, this locomotion mod doesn't contain any NV-exclusive meshes and doesn't require any NV mods, so it should be fine to upload without any changes.
Have had ttw set up for the last month because it has that true open world mod and all that dad bs is removed. So I've missed your work. It all looks great in the screenshots. The metallic robots textures lot awesome. Fair play.
I think from the images, your uniques are a lot better. I will link them in this unique weapon section as a recommended superior alternative.
I'd prefer to help give exposure for fo3 modders who put the work into making something good on this cursed engine, because unfortunately there are very few compared to nv.
I will leave up the other one though as the author was kind enough to personally give permission back when the mod had closed perms, and it is quite good.
For any one using this mode alongside the weapons animation replacer for FO3 and like to use pistols
In the Dramatic Inertia mod in the folder called locomotion delete the 1hp files (Not the 1hpfast ones) as if you try to use it without deleting the aforementioned 1hpfiles not labeled 1hpfast, your character will look very silly when you ADS, so delete the regular 1hp animations so you look normal when ADS with pistols.
The Locomotion folder has a key text file you can open so you know what is what when you configure it to your liking.
You can also do this with any of the weapon types in the Locomotion folder (Dramatic Inertia mod) in case they look silly when ADS with non scoped rifles, melee (Blocking) just delete the files not labeled fast
For example 1hpfastleft means without using ADS your character moves as intended with Dramatic Intertia.
Always save a backup though or just reinstall the mod
Cheers for that. I had noticed that mod doesn't work well in first person while moving forward. Good in other directions though. So was thinking of making an esp to redirect away from those files. Can be done without breaking the closed permissions of this mod.
What I remember is it worked well even while crouching and aiming. But aiming while moving forward upright didn't work well. I have some good animations to replace them with.
Seing as you have used dramatic inertia, have you found any other positions/movements that would be best replaced. I have several replacements for all those animations atm.
If anyone else has suggestions on this topic, feel free to post them here
Hello, if possible could you take a look at this mod, the author has said it only needs NVSE, I think it could possibly be ported over Fallout New Vegas 的近距离战斗 - Mod 和社区
I will take a look at that after i finish or give up on the current stupidly complicated likely to fail conversion. Big fan of that Modder's work, and from looking at his other mods, he likes to do things old school. So despite the nvse requirement, it may be possible with some work arounds. Not sure he'll give permission though as I think he intends on releasing some of his mods for fo3 at some point. I have links to a few of his mods in the links section of this mod description page. Everyone should check them out. Two of them are no brainer installs.
Allow me to say, that it looks outdated with 1K textures...furthermore many of the outfits has rather simple / unnoticeable changes...
As an example: Dr. Li's Unique outfit is identical with vanilla except the shirt is red, and then take a look at Unique's labcoat, that's 100% identical to vanilla's Dr. Li with green shirt... But if we have a converted plugin, the possibilities is endless :)
Soo the idea behind it is great, so lets hear what @Drarack has to say about it...

Tested and they make the mod like it's part of the game.
Hope ye enjoy what's there already and make sure to check the links section. Some of those mods were in the mod of the month section for new vegas.
Uniques for Weapon Retexture Project
Mothership Zeta unique weapons retextured
Weapon Enhancement Pack - Full Iron Sight Plus Support and UV tweaks
When taken as a whole, isn't mine better in quality? I sorta feel like linking to that TTW mod is a bit redundant now.
