Retexturing weapons can be tricky, especially when they are unique, because who is to say how they should look like? Should they be radically different from the style intended by Bethesda? Should they be modestly different? As someone who had barely retextured weapons before, this was hard to grapple with... But in the end I went for the modest approach. The only weapon I remodeled was the Captain's Sidearm, and only the muzzle. Regardless, I think it looks really cool. As for the rest, check the images above.
COMPATIBILTY AND REQUIREMENTS: 1. You will need Iron Sights Plus, if only for its models. It's a hard requirement, but if you don't want ironsights, simply leave them disabled in Stewie's fixes INI. 3. Updated Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch is not necessary, but highly recommended. I forwarded some of its records into this mod, so you may as well install it.
AS FOR PERFORMANCE: These retextures won't set your pc on fire. My aim was to improve them, obviously. But not so much that performance suffers. NOTE: All weapons have been upscaled to twice the normal resolution, including the regular dlc weapons.
