Your father is a goody goody nonviolent type. He is also a brilliant scientist. Melding his disdain for violence with his brilliance, he created a weapon that he intended to be used in order to avoid confrontations. Being blinded by his own particular brilliance, he neglected to think out what the more nefarious among us might do with his works..

The Pacifist Brain Blaster Gun

-Edits the regular BB Gun.
-Does not frenzy or explode heads.
-Doesn't work on everyone.
-Only works on crit.
-Allows "Good" characters to mez folks.
-Doesn't count in the "People Mezzed" stat.
-Upped the range, price, and chance to hit in VATS a bit.

Using tiny, powerful electromagnets along the inner barrel, it bestows a certain resonance frequency within the structure of the BB designed to disrupt neural activity. On a critical hit, the nervous system has been successfully targeted and the victim falls into a stupor.
Some people are "different" and do not have neural patterns which operate on the same frequencies as the average human. These people are immune to the weapon's effect.
Dear ol' Dad spread a the few models he crafted around the DC area in a futile effort give people the opportunity to resolve confrontations peacefully, before they even start. Having turned his full attention to Project Purity, he has ceased production of the Pacifist Brain Blaster Gun...

I put a mezz on crit effect on the lowly BB gun. Small mod, I know. My first weapon change though, and I haven't seen too many BB gun changes. None that I recall anyway. New to modding outside of RPG Maker2000 (rofl) I figured this would be the first file I upload. Something small and simple.
It doesn't work on everyone. I'll release a seperate file allowing anyone to be mezzed when I get around to it. Thanks twrdrockfan and Morbide!
It makes the game very easy. Perfect for a sneak thief. I had over 1000 caps by the time I was done with Super Duper Mart. Many people were walking about in their underwear. Of course, I wasn't playing a pacifict...
Issues:

Will conflict with other WeapBBGun mods (if there are any)
Does not work on everyone.
May make the Mesmatron useless. You'll run out of BBs eventually, I guess... It's more efficient and less messy anyway.
