The big news in PAM 2.0 is a user interface so configuration options can be set by menu instead of console commands. It can be launched two ways. First, there is now a terminal just inside the entrance to Vault 101. If you don't like it, open the terminal and select "Exit and Hide Terminal". Alternatively, you can launch the menu at any time, anywhere, by opening the console and typing:

    set PAMConfigMenu to 1

Taser Fist is extremely overpowered. You can stun an enemy, switch to a gun, switch back to taser fist to stun again before enemy gets up, etc.

This loop makes most enemies completely a joke. Game breaking.

is there a way to stop the radroach being killed? my problem isn't that I personally am shooting, it's that a non hostile animal that lives off garbage so isn't harming anyone is being killed by the religious jerk who sat by and did nothing whilst I was being bullied, standing by as someone else murders the inocent isn't pacifism, it's laziness.
perhaps shoot a bottle to scare the bug into hiding so James hits you but he can't get the roach, or giving them your sweet roll to keep as an animal friend, or threatening to ensure James has no more kids with the BB gun if he dare hurt an animal. something that's simple to impliment.
In a similar way, it's more pacifist to let the drunk child abuser die than the cute critters. at least if your pacifism is ideological rather than a meta challenge.

Awesome mod. Always wanted a fix for some non-pacifist moments in game story. And it's good to see someone putting AI-voices for real content, not just memes.

First of all: thank you so much for making this!!!

Do you have plans to also allow you to save certain people you couldn't before? (example: security officers in vault 101, who normally die to the player or to radroaches as there are no way to make them stop wanting to kill you) I feel like coding a way to save every one (or almost everyone) in vault 101 would go a long way in making this game pacifist-friendly. (I mean, the dwellers of vault 101 ARE the only people you've known for the first 18 years of your life in the game, so it would make sense that we would want to save them) No hard feelings if you don't like my idea. Thanks for reading!

I do like the idea. I hadn't thought about the V101 guards specifically, but I did something along those lines to help save Butch's mom from the radroaches. Ordinarily, if you have the BB Gun in your inventory, that's the only weapon you can loan to Butch. Unfortunately, NPCs have a hard time hitting them with ranged weapons because their hitbox is so small vertically, which virtually guarantees his mom will die unless you help kill them. So, I added the option to loan him any weapon in your inventory. If you give him the baseball bat he'll make short work of them. But I'm not sure what I could do for the guards, since they already have nightsticks.

Do you think we could get a version that's just the bug fixes?

Not until I'm done updating the mod, if at all. Maintaining multiple code branches is a nightmare. But what I am thinking about doing is making some of the features configurable. For example, the option to ask Dad to kill the tutorial roach doesn't get in the way of a non-pacifist playthrough, you wouldn't even see that dialogue option if you just go ahead and kill it when he tells you, so it will probably remain as-is. But I can see where you might want to turn off some other features, like the Tranquility Lane kill count fix, or the molerat repellent.

Non-lethal molerat repellent and Tranquility Lane kill count adjustment are now configurable, see sticky post at top of thread for instructions. Thanks for the suggestion!

Looks like an interesting mod! I don't play pacifist characters, but I do tend make less combat-focused builds, so having the option to avoid fights is always appreciated. Question: are the bugfixes retroactive? Thinking of adding this in my current playthrough.

Most of them are retroactive, but the one with the armored vault suit is not. If you install the mod and start from a save game after you asked Moira about the suit, there is no way for the mod to detect whether or not you previously read the overseer's terminal and set the flag correctly at that point. But the rest of them should be.

Alright then, thanks! Oh, what would happen if I have the scouting reports downloaded on my pip-boy, thanks to this mod?

It depends on how the mod works. There's a flag in the vanilla game that keeps track of what you know about the vault being opened in the past. If the mod has code to reset that flag when you read the note on your Pip-Boy, that might fix the problem. If it relies on the flag being set when you access the terminal, it won't. I'll have to download it and check to be sure.

Thanks for the videos! the one thing that was keeping me from wanting to try this was the thought of silent dialogue, but i just watched the roach quest and it's great. Can't even tell it's a mod! Thanks for making this, and I'm excited to see what you cook up next.

Thanks for the feedback! I changed the description to say that the mod is fully voiced.
