I liked how it made the NPCs look, but for the Rough Nite hairstyle, the way it shines changes. Instead of shining on individual locks of hair as you rotate the camera, it shines like the hair is a single metal mass. I didn't want to try out the No Shine mod because someone there posted about not being able to uninstall it, so I uninstalled this mod and put it back to normal. Thank you for making this mod.
Maybe the problem is archiveinvalidation. With Vortex you can use Settings > Workarounds > BSA Redirection. If that's not the issue make sure it's installed correctly and not overwritten by another mod. I don't know if Mandalorianez was just being mean or if his install was messed up. You can see the many comparison pictures in the description. Sorry for late reply I haven't played FO3 in a long time.
Just a heads up ENBoost is known to cause some problems, you should point people to use this instead. (Or they could just use the option built in to Stewie's Tweaks.)
I would like to report a little issue, it's not a great deal... But, here it is: In some hair I see little translucid pieces.
I tried to solve this inserting the line "FixSsaoHairTransparency=true" in the enblocal.ini at the [FIX] block... But the effects are a little bit odd, because in the case of ThreeDog, because his goatee now is opaque, and is like Jafar. XD
But, this work is really wonderful. Thanks for your mod.
Hey man, thank you for this mod. For a long time I wanted a mod like this. The others hair mods are too much "anime" for me and don't fit well with the game's atmosphere. So improvements on the vanilla hairs are very welcome.
I compared the file contents of this mod with Vanilla Hair - No Shine at Fallout New Vegas and they have the same files. It seems FO3 and NV use the exact same hair. New Vegas even has the unique HairDrLi texture from FO3.
Oh, I thought new vegas had some new hairstyles but it's been years since I've played fallout 3 so my memory is a little hazy. I should've checked myself before asking, sorry about that. Awesome mod btw.
