Sounds like ENB glitching out, you probably have water displacement and or antialiasing/anisotropic filtering enabled.
From the NEVADA ENB description: ?Open the game launcher and disable AF (anisotropic filtering) and AA (antialiasing), disable transparency aa and water multisampling (if water ripples give you visual errors, disable water displacement too).
If you open enblocal.ini there are some settings you can change like FixTransparencyBugs=true
Sidenote, this preset was made on reshade version 4 with the basic shaders available at that time. Now reshade is on version 5 with a whole bunch of new shader effects like filmic tonemap and filmic sharpen that I'm still messing around with. I'll see if I can update this preset and make some improvements.
Unfortunately with the latest patched version of the game, I have to use ENB's .dll library as my main d3d9.dll, and I have to set Fallout 3's default .dll as a proxy already.
It's strange, I can't find anyone else who has this same problem. If I use ENB's dll file instead of Fallout's I crash. But if I use Fallout's dll as a proxy, I'm fine. But this obviously precludes the usage of reshade's dll as a proxy...
Hmm that's an unfortunate conundrum. I wish I could help you with that, maybe it's possible to use multiple dll proxies,? not sure. The best solution would be to find out what's causing the crash, I would start with trying to install ENB on another PC with different hardware if you can to rule out your OS or GPU driver conflict. Maybe try older versions of ENB that could be compatible with your setup, or try asking for support in the ENB forum. Best of luck ?
I'm sorry to hear that, sometimes it could be the hardware that can't handle all the fx processes. But you can try to toggle off all the effects in the home tab, click on the checkmarks on the left side next to the fx names to toggle them off, then start to toggle them on individually until you find the best balance between look and performance.
If you drag the statistics tab to the right side of the screen, you can look at how the fps performance is while still messing around with the effects on the left. Hope this helps!
As for the green square, I have no idea on what that could be. Maybe start the settings configuration launcher exe and change the lighting to HDR or the other settings to low, medium, or ultra defaults? It could also just be a mod texture conflict. Is the green square caused by the pip boy screen or is the mouse cursor a green square? If it's the mouse cursor I think that's caused by having low video memory IIRC. And the only fix for that is to either reduce the amount of HD texture mods or to upgrade your pc hardware, which not everyone has the option to do unfortunately.
I did a bit of googling and apparently a broken mouse icon could also be caused by FOSE plugins crashing or something, you can try to move them out of the FOSE plugins folder and individually move them back one by one and seeing if any of your plugins are the cause of that green square.
Edit: Wait are you talking about some green pixels at the top left of your screen? Because that's caused by the AMD graphics driver, it's something to do with enabling a gaming boost option in your amd gpu settings if you have that. You can google "Radeon Boost Green Square" for more info on that.
Looks great, but I get massive FPS drops & stuttering whenever moving the camera or walking around. Tried using Ordenador as you did to resize the textures, but unfortunately this did'nt fix the issues.
