In Vanilla Fallout 3 if you charmed Mister Burke into leaving Megaton alone because you live in it but then disarmed the bomb Mister Burke would send hitmen after you even after saying he didn't want to destroy the town to save you. He could possibly do this while sending you love letters. In Vanilla Mister Burke was a complicated man. This mod fixes that. Now Mister Burke will not send hitmen after you if he is in love with you even if you disarm the Megaton bomb.Requirements:
None. Well, okay, you'll need Fallout 3.
Installation Instructions:
Just drop in the data folder and tick the esp, or use any mod manager you feel comfortable with.
Conflicts and Patches:
This mod only changes a single quest by adding an additional variable check on an already existing variable. If something else changes the quest for one-shot random encounters then there may be a conflict but otherwise there should be absolutely no problems. If there is a conflict it should be easy to sort out in xEdit, just check what this esp does and make sure it make it in to a merge patch along with whatever changes the other mod made.
Permissions and Thanks:
I'd like some kind of note of where it came from, but even that isn't required. Use the mod however you want with my blessing. The only thing I don't want is for this mod to be reuploaded without any changes unless for some reason my official releases are no longer available. If you're making a bugfix patch and want to include this mod you have my complete blessing.
Thanks to Bethesda for making Fallout 3, it may not be perfect but it's absolutely impressive.
