ABOUT
Overhaul for Butch DeLoria. Allows you to recruit him sooner, makes him more useful in combat, and adds more dialogue. Compatibility patches will be made, but for now the file is provided as is. In order for all features to apply you must use this with a new game or a game where you haven't started or completed the Trouble on the Homefront quest.
FEATURES
- new "Tunnel Snakes Rule!" perk when traveling with him, similar to how it works with New Vegas companions
- ability to recruit Butch early, Trouble on the Homefront now begins after visiting Three Dog for the first time
- additional dialogue when encountering him in the vault during Trouble on the Homefront
- flagged as essential; "Butch is unconscious!" will display now if he dies instead of "Butch has died!"
- dismissal to Rivet City and both default player homes
- buffed base damage to Butch's pistol and switchblade
- buffed Butch's outfit so that he no longer gets KO'd in 2 hits
- pistol now uses magical infinite companion ammo
- Butch's switchblade is now un-playable and Butch exclusive
- removed karma checks for all recruitment methods
