My character is of high endurance & strength, yet upon applying this mod, the poor chap's health dropped by about 60%! Having used a similar mod in NV, I was expecting more like a 40% drop. In the end I instead used a mod which gives enemy attacks 40% more damage.

I like this mod, it makes you die faster but also makes stimpaks more impactful, I think it will fit nicely with my tweaked VH playthrough, where I do 200% but take 600% damage. I was gonna make it 1200% but I think with this mod I can keep it at 600% and the game will still be challenging.

    Does this affect NPCs?

I am not noticing any change in health of my companions, but enemies seem to be dying faster...maybe its nothing, I don't know.

I've built a mod (http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2210) using yours as inspiration - credits given in both source code and README. Thanks for your work !

DevLog : most values inside FO3 are float, not integers. Health is one of those, even if it displays as an int. So no carrying over fractions is needed.

I've enjoyed this mod so far, as it has definitely created an increased measure of challenge and required strategy to certain combat situations (my Big Guns guy actually has to dodge someimes while charging into combat). I have a few questions about the mathematical formula used to calculate the character hitpoints; does it secretly keep track of 'half' hitpoints for an odd End stat, and then apply an extra whole number when the character attains the next experience level? Does it just round up or down to the nearest whole number; or does it merely disregard fractions altogether? The character in question is level 6, has an End of 8, and has so since the beginning of the game; thus I haven't been able to determine these answers.

Okay, so that was probably more wordy than necessary, but you get the meaning.

Classic FO3 formula is in the readme. This formula is quite, quite close.

Interesting mod. Perhaps you should also add the vanilla FO3 hitpoints formula as a comparison?
