Asnwering to an old post I know. But it is quite easy to convert yourself. I'm a noob TTW player. And I've managed to figure it out. Partly by Googleling. And partly by reading up on the documentation provided with TTW. I HAVE converted Charon to TTW. But so far I haven't made it to Underworld yet. At least I don't have any saves from that place. But I am roaming the Mojave with a FO3 rifle and with - a modded- Clover in tow
@OceanicDweller: Wanted to PM you, but your name didn't show on search. Anyway - yes, it works flawlessly. Only one thing - I have to open his stash using console. I can't do it with the companion wheel. And - to be honest- I haven't tried via dialogue. Maybe......
I just downloaded this mod- But I think downloading it got rid of the DLC quest? All except broken steel which still shows up, but the others aren't showing up. I've checked to see what might be causing it but I'm not sure.
UPDATE- Got it to work- The mod for some reason unchecks the dlcs added. If anyone else has this issue just go into the data files when you open the game and recheck them! Though for some reason I don't get the option to just chat with him any more which is unfortunate, I'd love to hear the stories he keeps saying he wants to tell me.
I might just be being dumb but I chose the dialogue option to give him a stealth boy thinking that he would only use it when crouched but he seems to be using it all the time apart from when in combat? If anyone knows how to stop this it would be nice as id rather not have an invisible companion.
Wanted to give this a try, but I think it conflicts with FOOK2. I know it's been years and it's a mostly dead game, but any chance of a compatibility patch? Charon's my favorite follower. :(
So I followed everything recommended to get this mod working properly, but after I played it for a little while I'm no longer getting the option to talk to Charon about anything other than the technical stuff. He never actually answered me either when I asked him about what happened in the 9th Circle or some of the interesting things he'd done. He would go through the motions of replying, but then he'd just say not now or naw, and now I can't even ask him anymore for some reason (like the topic isn't even showing up anymore) and I have no idea why or if that was how the interaction was supposed to play out.
@Cianan1993 - I currently have no plans to do it. If I were to spend any time on Charon I'd rebuild the mod from scratch and then think about doing the TTW. I wouldn't convert him as is. Someone contacted me a while ago asking for permission to do the conversion, but I've never heard anything further about it so assumed it was never done.
A conversion for TTW would be fantastic. This is my only must-have mod for FO3, and it'd be great to have it in a TTW playthrough. Maybe we should start a campaign for the mod author who contacted you to go ahead and do it.

I don't have any plans to do that any time soon, no. RL is busy right now and I spend all my free modding time tending the FO4 companion I released in April.
Aw man, I was just tried to install this on TTW too. The main menu never shows up, just the logos and whatnot. I was really looking forward to giving this character some... character. Guess I'll just have to headcanon everything. :(
You could always convert it yourself, for your own personal use, and/or ask llamaRCA if she would let you upload the converted (and tested) file. You should be able to find out how to do it on the TTW site.
Great mod! I've been having lots of fun with it. I also noticed mention of "ChromeHaster's Clover" in the mod description. I however cannot find this mod anywhere or information about what it was. Can anyone enlighten me about what the mod did?
Chrome Hamster's Clover mod is still available here on the Nexus. The mod's title is "Clover Perfected - Type 3". Y'all just about gave this old(er) man a heart attack over that. O.O
Maybe? I don't know enough about JIPC&C to tell you authoritatively one way or the other. JIP is providing controls for Charon and some may work and some may not. I do add things to Charon (different packages, etc) but I don't think JIP touches the actual NPC records (I think he does everything via scripting). If that's the case it might be fine. If not, then they'll conflict. But even then, it might be okay.
If you'd been playing this version of Charon first I'd recommend making a save and seeing how it goes. Since you are asking, I assume, to decide whether or not to try this mod I don't have a solid recommendation for you on that.
Thanks for the reply! I'll probably start a new character and wander around a bit with just this, then throw in JIPCC. That way it'll be easier to tell what's conflicting then.
I do notice that someone below asked about a conversion for TTW, and while I've only done personal mods and can't promise it'll be perfect, I know the process pretty well, I can convert it if you want? I can upload it - with a credit and a disclaimer so everyone knows any bugs with the conversion are my fault - or I can hand it over to you and you can upload it. I'm doing it for myself anyway so it's no trouble.
Though, I'm just wondering if I've done anything wrong since I haven't got the friendship conversation yet. I'm at level 20, have had neutral to good karma (good currently, I think), and picked the third option when talking abouth the BoS. I've also sent him for drinks at both locations, what transpired at the Muddy Rudder was hilarious!
