Sadly at the moment I need to re-install Fallout 3 so don't have it on my computer. Major failure meant I had to re-install. But if you go to GECK if you have it you can turn on a hidden Quest which was used for testing.
If you haven't got that, go to Anacosta Crossing as soon as you load your game with her loaded. If she's not there get to Megaton on Tuesday or Rivet City Market on Thursday.
There's not a great deal to her at the moment a few dialogue options, I was going to extend her and maybe make some quests but the closeness of New Vegas seemed to make it pointless.
I can recommend her as a companion if you have RR Companions Vault mod loaded. If you haven't got that mod I heartily recommend it especially to those who have already completed the game. Brooke as a companion is available with the Type 3 body and the Exnem Bigger Breasts.
I have also loaded the orignal Save Game where Brooke was "born"
What is her prid id number of her? I added this mod after I had already beaten the game.. and rather not be forced to use chance to run into her. Thanks.
Having a freindly ally who wanders the wastes just like the PC does is always an interesting idea. Its also good that shes not just another trigger-happy ally who you recruit but she actually prefers to be alone... with her canine freind of course.
Have you downloaded the new version? It includes an esp that you can edit. The only real idea behind the original was to see if it could be done. Dialogue etc came later , I've added a different option for if the player is playing as male or female but other than that the only real point of speaking to her is to get access to her house. But again, not really a lot in there to be honest.
I just liked the idea of there being other lone wanderers in the wasteland. After all why would there be only one given the circumstances of the post fallout world.
Truth to tell, I attached the ESM to a catch-all ESP I use, and gave her a few lines by way of 'how are you' and such like. Just to make it worth saying hello, basically.
Thanks for the endorsement, it was a lot of work and I had a lot of help getting her working properly. Maybe for New Vegas I'll do an expanded version of her with more to say, the new GECK version and coding allowing of course. No one knows yet how easy or otherwise modding will be in New Vegas
A lot of what an NPC lone wanderer can do in the game is limited by the Fallout 3 engine itself. For example Brooke only loads when you enter the domain she should be in. This is determined by her route, so for example you as the player wanders into The Mall. The game then computes all the scripts, travel packages etc including Brooke. If her travel plan determines she should be there she will load.
She is part of the player faction so she will fight anything or anyone that the player would. So when she comes across Mutants she will attack, or they will attack her.
She has a pre-determined travel route, I think from memory it is between 8 to 12 points and she also spends a day of rest in Megaton and spends the weekends in her house.
She has one follower, her loyal dog Ben
As for weapons and outfits she has her own weapon and outfit but is set to loot after each battle. Not sure the loot packages work too well in Fallout 3 something I hope they improve in New Vegas

Look forward to seeing it in action.

1. Does she choose her own weapons/armor etc? Or is this programmed to use a single weapon and armor like most NPC's?
2. Does she has her own followers as well? If yes, does she some how redo their armor/weapons etc as well? Or are these independent on this topic?
3. In how far does the player have influence over this NPC?
4. Does she have any merchant type abilities? Like trading, facial, hair, etc.
5. In how far is she doing things on her own? Is it on random or a scripted route?
Be glad to!
Soon as I get a little more testing in.
