My advice is to do the basic: re-download the mod (in case the files got corrupted), "verify the integrity of game files" and re-doing the process again, and paying extra attention aka make sure it's the actual mesh file you are replacing, not some material or other similar file.
Hmm, a little dissapointed that the Solus Greatsword doesn't still have the wavy blade. I feel like the real life Zweihander/Flamberge could have been used as inspiration for a "realistic" Solus Greatsword design.

I am trying to replace the meshes for the mercenaries and changing them into the Albion guard meshes, but they won't update when starting the game on modded mode.

thought the mod was super cool and was disappointed to see that it pretty much ruins the coolest sword in the game
