So I tried the NAT III enb plugin and it mostly worked - till I've encountered the Sun Coast weather with night auroras. Looks like NAT does not recognize that particular weather and throws a huge red warning all over the screen that WEATHER SETTINGS CANNOT BE LOADED when it is active.
Am I doing something incorrectly? Or is there a fix for that?
The SMIM compatibility patch could also make the tables slightly lower again - with SMIM installed, all the card game tables display like this. To fix this locally, you can delete commontablesquare01.nif from the /meshes/clutter/common folder in SMIM.
Another seeming incompatibility are regular old barrels - no clue why, but with SMIM installed they look like this. Probably got something to do with the "HD Furniture and Barrels" listed in the Enderal credits file. Removing barrel02.nif from SMIM reverts them to normal; the textures themselves seem to be fine.
For those who come after me and are wondering - Embers XD now includes an official Enderal plugin replacer in its FOMOD (not sure which version this was added). The one on this page is no longer needed if you're using the official one. I also didn't seem to need the CTD patch, but YMMV.
Embers XD 2.68 is no longer available. Will your plugin replacer work with 2.73? Also, is the living temple CTD fix still relevant with the newer version?
I tried it before. However, due to the way Enderal implemented the statues with the environmental objects, it cannot easily be done without some editing to the cell, which I am not that familiar with. You definitely can just replace the meshes but it will cause some weird placement in some cases. I may look into it in the future but it is not my priority right now.
Enderal has many custom barrel asset, which is not touched by SMIM. So it will not matter if you install any barrel replacer from vanilla Skyrim. Personally I use Enderal Texture Workshop which improves the textures on those custom barrels.
Just to let you and everyone else know, if you use the "Lit Road Signs" optional plugin from Skyland AIO, it completely FUCKS the intro of the game. I tested it multiple times. Throat of the World shows up, the lighting is messed up, the first quest to see daddy never initializes, let's you open the map, and no music plays.
This is not the fault of the mod or the mods from this page, but I think it may be a good idea to add that to the description of this modpage, so future users know they shouldn't install that extra plugin. Something like "make sure to not install Lit Road Signs optional plugin when installing Skyland AIO, it breaks the game and is not compatible" or something like that.
