Very nicely laid out, but also very disappointing! I play at the very high difficulty and I was able to kill the boss with three sneak shots from my bone bow. I was in and out in five minutes, no problem. This is a good way to pick up 5000 points and some good with virtually no effort at all.
This is true, and I very much respect the effort to blend in seamlessly with the game - a principle this mod excels at, with the books and the dungeon being placed in a way that you would never think they hadn't been part of the base game. However, the reality is that the Myths and Legends creatures could all do with a little boost. Keep in mind that the quest isn't marked with a difficulty star (should be a ** at most I guess), and by the lore alone they all sound really dangerous, so it's natural for people to keep putting them off until they're vastly overlevelled for them. It also doesn't make much sense from an in-world perspective for this ancent, Lovecraftian evil to hit less hard than your average, say, frost spider. At the very least, the suggestion below to only have the boss appear upon interacting with the altar would go a long way. This may have to do with the walkmeshes of the area, but somehow when I summoned my (tier two!) apparition at the entrance of the dungeon it must have ended up straight in the boss chamber... so you can imagine my disappointment when I arrived there, treading carefully because of the repeated (scary!) quakes, only to find the Forgotten One already dead and, well, forgotten... Such an amazing creature model and beautiful, gloomy dungeon design really deserve better!
I downloaded this mod to add more content for my iron path + EGO 100% journey and ended up stumbling upon this dungeon at level 16. Fortunately for me I was playing an archer build since I've never played one before (even in skyrim lol). Lets just say it was fairly cheesable if you just shot from above and covered behind the ledge/pillars when the forgotten one shot at you. Although the experience was fascinating either way! I'm sure melee builds would have a thrill with this one, but every class has their own advantage, so you can't make everything perfect. I was surprised that the loot was a bit underwhelming though: 1 memory point, 1 master entropy book, 1 chain lightning III book and around 300 pennies. I figured some unique item or blueprint would be here, but I guess a memory point is the main point of focus here. Either way, this mod adds a very cool encounter to the game so make sure to pick it up!
Okay, this is a dumb question, but... how do I leave the dungeon once I've killed the boss? I dropped off the ledge to fight him, and there's no stairs leading back up. And I'm not seeing any other exits. I'll use TCL if I have to, but I'd rather find the actual exit.
Nice mod. I have a suggestion though. One cheesy way to kill the boss is to remain on the ledge and rain down arrows from above. His attacks somehow aim below the character, so he always hits the ledge instead of character.
I suggest that boss should spawn after interacting with altar in the middle. Than you have to actually be there in the arena to fight him.
The .esp has a dependency on Dragonborn.esm, however my understanding is that I'm not supposed to use the DLCs with Enderal. By default, they are not enabled on the Enderal SE Steam installation. Should I activate Dragonborn.esm with this mod?

I assume you'd have a similar experience with the other enemies.
