My intention was to create a new entry to the myths and legends series that is completely seamlessly integrated into Enderal.

This includes:
Updated the myths and legends questline
A new book with appropriate lore that starts the quest
A new boss with unique mechanics

A new dungeon (thanks to EEW Enderal Ebony Warrior)
The original dungeon was renamed, the exterior reworked and some small changes were made to the interior.

EGO SE patch included in optional files. (compatible with english and german)

I tried my best to keep it in line with other myths and legends writing. (includes a properly translated german file)

Myths and Legends, Volume 6: The Forgotten One

Written by Archmagister Gawayn Girathû, 8111 a. St.

There is a legend around the farmers coast of an evil creature called the Forgotten One, that roams the land in the dead of night looking for prey. It's a story that you may have heard someone tell at a campfire or a bar.

According to the legend, the creature hovers over the earth with a body covered in tentacles, using otherworldly magic to feed its insatiable hunger. Some say that this being is older than the starfall itself and is not from the world of Vyn but another dimension, others argue it's a wild mage that delved too deep into the forbidden arts and transformed into a horrible creature.

There are reports of farmers claiming that their fields are plagued with withered crops and some of their livestock just vanishes overnight. Some people attribute these occurrences to the Forgotten One ravaging the land.

Author's note:
All the information I found about this mysterious being was completely anecdotal, gathered from people living along the farmers coast. I was not able to confirm the existence of this creature with any reputable historian or anyone at the order.

I could go on about contradicting descriptions of the Forgotten One, but considering that there is no evidence of this creature, it's safe to assume that it can be explained by natural phenomenons, thieves and drunkards.
