Update v1.2.1 (8.7.24): Updated c0000.anibnd.dcxas Optional file, replaces the main versions. Comes with FX for DLC Fist-type weapons and fixed the impact position of FX when deflecting with shield. This was only possible using Lnent's mod as reference, please check out them out if you only want Visual effects to the Deflects with no gameplay changes. Also, thanks XxJepxX for the tips! :)
Update v1.2 (7.7.24): Updated reg.bin for Sekiro-like All in One to the latest 1.12.4 along with balanced poise damage of deflection and guard counters to reward more deflections. Also, Sekiro Deflection also dropped the thing I wanted.
Edit 6.7.24: I will try to keep the mod updated as I play the DLC Regarding Sekiro Deflection, I do not agree with the attack/dash animation changes when it should be the deflection the author should be perfecting. While I do recommend keeping an eye on his mod, wait for him to share a separate version of Sekiro Deflection and another version with his other changes. So I will probably be finishing the DLC with my mod, and try to keep it updated if anything breaks..
Edit2 4.7.24: This mod will no longer be consistently maintained after today. Should still work for 1.12.3 I will be moving forward playing the DLC with Sekiro Deflection by VlZZO. Thank you so much for the support so far, hope you enjoyed!
Edit 4.7.24: Just found out Hand-to-Hand, Beast Claw and a couple of DLC Fist-type weapons does not have FX but have Sound. I will try to fix this on the next update. So far that applies to:Fixed for 1.2.1
v1.1: The much needed oomph is here! Along with an All in One version for anyone who wishes to try it with the adjusted values that might add to a more Sekiro-like experience. Otherwise, the FX and Sounds version is in Optional Files, so just replace it with one of the Main Files if you are not using the All in One. I do not know when but I will try to merge with Sekiro Dash DLC when I have time (already asked for permission from theEvi1Twin). But for the time being, enjoy!
v1.1: Uploading as we speak, but its scanning for virus or might be blocked? I sent an email to support in hopes that this will be released sooner. I do not know how long it will take but please be patient. Edit 2.7.24: Thank you for trying out the mod and hopefully enjoying it! I know you guys want me to merge with Lnent's mod. But the author wants to keep the integrity of the vanilla game, which I will respect. But I do still feel the vanilla deflect fx lacks the much needed Sekiro oomph. Using the animation IDs Lnent kindly provided, I will add Sekiro Deflection and Dodge's (orginal doujzc) FX&Sounds to the deflects, as the authors have not updated their mods. Please be patient with me while I cook. v1: Sorry guys this is my first mod so of course I had to miss something. The version with working Toggle Tear in inventory is now uploaded
Just spent the last half an hour arguing with smithbox and manually updating csvs, so thought i'd share. Updated reg.bin for 1.12.3 for anyone who wants it, seems to be working perfectly for me. Thanks for the awesome mod!
Great job man, I'm pinning this for anyone who wants to have the latest version of regulation.bin 1.12.4 of Sekiro-like All in One ver. 1.1 (pre-balancing fixes for poise dmg)
You will no longer update to keep it up updated to the newer versions of the game right? There's a way to update it myself? And how exactly? Even tho I quite like the Sekiro Deflection, I kinda prefer the idea of using this one since it's more vanilla friendly. (I just really want to be able to keep it always active with some nice effects and a bit of poise dmg)
Use Smithbox: https://github.com/vawser/Smithbox and this 5 minute video helped me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GT3Oe_r7UA. Note I had to compile the executable from the main branch because the latest release at this time of writing didn't have the upgrade to the latest params implemented.
I'm having problems with the modification. I installed an all-in-one mod on a pure client, the impact from the blocks appeared, but there is no posture damage. I even installed the posture bar mod and it is clearly visible there. Additionally, there is no item to activate the effect. Neither in the inventory nor at the specified merchant. What am I doing wrong?
Hello there, I'm having a ton of problems with the mod. So basically, nothing works because the regulation.bin file is completely non existent, in the sense that it doesn't work.
Trust me, I have tried EVERYTHING. I have scrolled far in the posts section. I tried to replace just the event folder with the one of this mod...
...which is the base from which you've built this other mod, and it didn't work. I tried replacing all the folders (besides chr) with the original mod, it didn't work. I deactivated all other mods, nothing.
Turns out the problem is the regulation.bin file. I downloaded the Sekiro All-In-One version.
The thing is, the toggleable deflect tear doesn't appear in my inventory nor in the Limgrave North Merchant's. And also, I still consume stamina even if I deflect.
(And I did test this by replacing the regulation.bin file with the one of the original mod, and when I did, it worked)
So basically, it's as if your entire mod is non existent. The only actual thing it does is that it makes the Sekiro particles when you deflect, but nothing else.
So please, fix it... I really would have wanted to try it out, but as of now, it's basically impossible.
You aren't suppose to download Infinite or Toggleable Deflecting Tear since it's already incorporated in this mod. Try removing the mod folder and only install Sekiro-like All in One.
I somehow made it work by merging Infinite or Toggleable Tear with your Poise Dmg and Toggle Tear + FX and Sounds + No stamina loss on deflection via the newly released Elden Ring Mod Merger, and somehow, it works.
will just chip in to say, i also cannot find the toggle (installed All-In-One). I'm new to modding but I can guarantee the mod's in the right place. I just don't have the knowledge to merge stuff like the others to make it work. :(
I'll just use the flask, since I like the mod effects (also bcz im a noob).
I tried for two hours, very new to elden ring modding, Im using seemless co op, an got a poise bar mod working but nothing I tried got this working :/ I even tried the other mod just for the deflect tear, that didnt work either
a lot of people seem to have trouble merging .hks files, so i made a c0000.hks compatible with this mod and clever's moveset. can I upload it to this post by any chance? if this was a rude question, i will delete this post immediately. having this mod allowed me to have a fun Eldenring life. thank for your hard work 👍
It's a race against time you need to check what each regulation.bin is changing and what overlapping changes are made there are numerous questions and details about this merge in the post of clever's moveset the great thing is that clever has written down every animation that changes, hkx, even sfx in the text one by one. so Anibnd.dcx merging is easy to do if you check his writing in description(i worked as a witchyBND) my regulation.bin file and chr folder have already merged a bunch of mods I won't remember, (Map for Goblins, clever's moveset,Sekiro-like SotE Deflect, rune x 10, one-slot-magic,summon ashes anywhere,Magic Overhaul - Sorceries, and so many mods that I can't count...) so it might be a incredibly different from what you want, but I can upload them if you want them for the sample. of course, i have to get permission from the author to upload it, and if he wants to delete it, I will delete it immediately
if you are asking me for permission, please don't. I am merely a "merger" like yourself. And please don't feel bad asking these questions. The stuff we do also requires time and effort (especially for a noob like me). So by all means feel free to upload any merges here in the comments, man. I believe "compatibility patch"-type mods are ok to post as mods without the author's permission, since the user has to download both main mods and use the patch mod to replace them.
By any chance, can I have the file you were talking about? PS. If possible, could you pass me a file with just this mod and clever's merged and if not, it's fine.
i don't remember all the modes included either, but use this file, maybe two clever's moveset and SEKIRO will work perfectly. i've done a lot of weird stuff in my file, so I recommend using it for reference only heheh 😅
Drove myself damn near insane trying to figure out what was added to this hks in comparison to the new Clever moveset. If you're using Notepad++ and the compare plugin, search up the SpEffectID 512009 on the file and see where it's used. Adjust for the newer version of the c0000.hks and you should be gold.
