Make sure to bypass EAC and only play offline when using mods. & backup your save just incase the mod changes something that you don't like you can reinstall your save and revert anything

Latest version of this mod requires 1.03.2, if you are not using that version its very likely this mod will NOT WORK.
You will need V1.4 or lower if your on game version 1.03.1

  • Max HP is now 2500 at vigor 99
  • HP Flasks now restore more at higher levels to account for the higher max hp limit and a very minor amount of FP as well(flask 10 restores 65 FP, again its a minor amount)
  • Runes can now be recovered immediately after death(Done so you dont have those times were you get dumbly killed running back to your 300k runes...)
  • All spirits now cost an increasing amount of HP to summon per ash lvl instead of FP, ash's lvl 1 cost 275, lvl 10 cost 1950HP(This is effectively limiting how strong of summons you can summon based on how strong you are. 1950hp will be roughly vigor lvl 51-55)

  • All bleed weapons have had there buildup rate reduced REMOVED IN 1.8 DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND
  • All weapons have had there requirements removed(This is so you can test each weapon out and its ability BEFORE respecing to decide if you like it, damage still scales normally)
  • Colossal weapons have had there animations changed to greatswords/warhammers(This is to speed them up to make them more viable, I felt they were just too damn slow for so many fights...) REMOVED IN 1.8 DUE TO BUGS
  • All weapons can now have ashes of war applied
  • All weapons can now be buffed with incantations/grease(Same reason as above really... plus lets be honest 90% of people use special weapons so never get to use these)
  • Greases have had there buff time last until death. Or until weapon is changed.
  • All ashes of war have had there FP cost reduced(Some have had it reduced a good amount, others not so much. This was to make specing into mind not so important for melee builds...though now some ashes will be op now im sure)
  • Upgrade stones can now be purchased from the Twin Maiden without turning in the bellbearings(These unlock after killing specific bosses now in V1.4)
  • Spirit Gloveworts can now be purchased from the Twin Maiden without turning in the bellbearings(These unlock after killing specific bosses now in V1.4)
  • Unlimited Larvel Tears can now be urchased from the Twin Maiden
  • Unlimited Rune arcs can now be purchased from Twin Maiden
  • Unlimited Stonesword keys can now be purchased from Twin Maiden
  • All greases can now be made in the crafting menu as of 2.1
  • Spirits can now be summoned in most parts of the world(There is a few places they still dont work but for the most part its 90% of places.)
  • Weaker summons have been changed to be more useful(I have balanced the strength of them to the best of my ability, some might be a bit too strong or too weak but I cant test every fight)
  • All the new summons have had there icon set to a red rune due to me being absolutely terrible at image manipulation and not goin to attempt making icons for them.


All these new summon ash's are "purchased" from the crafting menu after defeating RENNALA

NOTE about *Bears* They a weird quirk that they stand still for like 3 sec before the ai kicks in...no idea why its like that but thats just the way it is.




V1.1
  • Restored the Ashes of Moonveil, Sword of night and flame, Dark Moon Greatsword(Dark Moon was never meant to be changed, sorry)
  • Malenia's Ashes were too weak at low ash levels. levels 0-3 has been buffed slightly
V1.2
  • FP max has been increased to 700 at mind lvl 99
  • ALL stats now scale linearly with level(no longer will you get 90% of a stats worth in the first 50 levels...now you will be rewarded for investing into 1 stat instead of punished)
    *Note this will mean early game you will have noticeably lower stats*
  • Max equip load max value has been increased from 160 at lvl99 to 185
V1.3
  • Updated all spirit ashes to require less HP to use...i forgot to update these after making stats scale linearly...this i feel is needed since now you wont wont have the required HP to use them until Vigor 70-75. now its around 50-55 for an Ash +10

V1.4

Stones & Gloveworts now unlock after killing specific bosses:
  • Stones & Gloveworts 1-2 = Godrick 
  • Stones & Gloveworts 3-4 = Rykard
  • Stones & Gloveworts 5-6 = Astel
  • Stones & Gloveworts 7-9 = Morgott
  • Dragon Stones = Malenia

**For those that want the stones & gloveworts unlocked from the beginning of the game, I have included a csv for you to import into the regulation file.**

  • Mod updated for 1.03.2 support
  • Changed the Malenia spirit summon into her winged form(done to more differentiate her and Millicent since there movesets are so similar)
  • Added Millicent as a spirit summon(replaces the giant rats)

V1.6
  • Fixed the low damage from critical hits from colossal weapons
  • Added Hoarah Loux as a spirit summon(replaces fanged imps)
V1.7

  • All summon spirits have been restored to there original summon.
  • All 12 custom summon spirits all have there own summon ash now and are "purchased" from the crafting menu after defeating RENNALA
  • Added new summon "Godfrey"
  • Prior to this update i only had tied balancing the summons at +10, I have now attempted balancing at all ash levels...


But as testing each summon for perfect balancing takes so long my balancing done is very limited. some of them could/might be op or underperform
The balancing i did tried to keep them a bit different from each other like the single dire wolf has higher HP/DEF than the rest, loux is much more aggressive than godfrey dealing more damage than godfrey but godfrey has better survivability etc.
V1.8

  • Bleed Nerf has been removed due to popular demand.
  • Colossal weapons have had there animations(attack speed) restored due to a bug involving some weapons unable to do damage and some unable to use ashes of war...
**sorry this is a needed change to try keeping the mod bug free :(  Ill keep trying other ways of modifying Colossal weapons but as of now the consensus with the community is this isnt a bug easily fixed when swapping the animations.**
  • Re-added larval tears to the twin husks(apparently I removed this on accident on a later update)
  • Staffs and Seals can now universally enable the use of incantations and spells

**NOTE, this update requires also updating the "item.msgbnd.dcx" file within "\msg\engus\item.msgbnd.dcx" this new updated file is required**

V1.9

  • Increased the FOV(you can now see more on the left and right of the player)-CSV files included to return to stock if you dont like this change.
  • Moved the cam back from the player(you can now see a few feet behind the player model instead of stopping right at his heels)
  • Removed the startup videos(This change requires the new gfx files be placed in the "menu" folder after extracting the game wiles with UXM)
  • Changed all greases from 2hours of buff time to -1(infinite until death)
  • Gave the new summons NG+ scaling(1.1-1.2x increase) so they arent useless at higher ng+

**NOTE, THIS UPDATE NOW HAS 2 NEW FILES TO BE MOVED FOR THE INTRO VIDEOS TO BE SKIPPED**

  • Added katalash's mod engine, this method is highly recommended to use mods, you will no longer need to use UXM to extract all the game files and it leaves all the stock files untouched.

V2.1

  • Greases moved from the twin husks to the crafting menu, costing 1 Rowa Fruit(Figured it was the easiest material to obtain.)
  • All original items that was removed that the twin husks originally had is back.
  • Reduced the delay from respawning after death by about 4x

Mod Loader Instructions (highly recommended method):
you have 2 ways of using this method

1a. Move the folder "ModEngine-2.0.0-preview3" to somewhere like your desktop
2a. Double click "launchmod_eldenring.bat" (you might need to run as admin)

OR if that doesn't work(only do this method if 1a doesn't work)

1b. Copy the contents of "ModEngine-2.0.0-preview3" into your game directory
2b. Launch the game using "modengine2_launcher.exe" (might need to run as admin)





Manual Installation instructions:
1. Install UXM for Elden Ring(Maker has asked for it to not be shared, if you need it you must get it yourself within the modding discord linked in the credits.)

2. Then in UXM select the eldenring.exe inside your Elden ring directory and click "Unpack"

3. After the unpacking is complete click "Patch"

4. Backup the 4 files within these directories inside your installation folder: 
"\msg\engus\item.msgbnd.dcx" 
"\menu\05_900_logo_fromsoft.gfx" 
"\menu\05_901_logo_bne.gfx" 
regulation.bin

5. Drag the contents of the "mod" folder I included thats inside the ModEngine folder into your Elden Ring installation folder, it should prompt you if you want to replace 4 files, click yes.
