Hey mod works great merged alongside random enemies and random fog gates with seamless coop but when I try to re-randomize those mods items from this mod are getting shuffled. Any advice? Already tried what you suggested when you update RNG Lands.
Edit: Nevermind, I think I may have accidentally swapped versions (seeds)
Could you describe in short what you did to make all those mods work together without issues? For sure it would be helpful to others trying to do the same! :)
Extract each mod to separate folders except Seamless Co-op within ModEngine2's 'mod' folder. Give the folders all clear and short names ex (fogmod, randomizer, rnglands)
Run EldenRingRandomizer.exe within the randomizer's folder - Click 'Merge Other Mod' -> 'Select regulation.bin to merge' - Select the regulation.bin file located in your mod/rnglands folder Now you can customize you experience before hitting 'Randomize Enemies'
Once that's done you can launch FogMod.exe withing fogmod's folder - Click 'Merge Other Mod' - This time instead of merging the regulation.bin you click 'Select toml file (merge mutliple mods)' The toml file you need will be inside your randomizer folder. Customize your settings once more and then hit 'Randomize!'
Not sure if this step is required but I've had issues without it - Copy everything within the randomizer folder to the fogmod folder without overwriting/replacing.
Last step is to configure ModEngine2's Config located right next to the 'mod' folder. We need fogmod to take priority and rnglands to do the opposite - Open config_eldenring.toml - Edit the 'mods' section to look like this mods = [ { enabled = true, name = "default", path = "mod\\fogmod" }, { enabled = true, name = "default", path = "mod\\randomizer" }, { enabled = true, name = "default", path = "mod\\rnglands" } ] The order dictates priority so make sure to keep it the same.
The pinned post about using all of those mods together works to get it started. However, there is a huge risk that my friends and I have found when trying to play them all.
Playing all of these mods together, even without other players, runs the risk of your save being corrupted beyond any real repair if the game crashes while going through a fog gate. This is very unlikely to be this mods fault, but I feel like it's important to note it for anyone who attempts it. This is one of the only posts I've found that really lays the process out completely involving this mod and the other randomizers. We've lost 105th level characters because of it, and some solutions that the seamless coop folks have outlined using the debug tool does not seem to solve it. Coming down to you needing to reinstall the game.
Be careful and back up saves as often as possible! That being said, the experience all of these mods offer together is incomparable to anything you can get in most games.
To merge with the Enemy Randomizer, follow these steps: 1. Install as per Sticky Comment Install everything as mentioned in the sticky comment, except for the Fog Gate mod as it's outdated at the time of writing. 2. Add regbinmeme.dll
Download the "regbinmeme.dll" from the "?ServerName?" Discord server.
Add it to the external DLLs section in the modegine2 config.
Although I included it in the Randomizer setup, it didn't work alone, so you'll need to add it directly to the config_eldenring.toml file to avoid the "corrupted save" error at the start.
Warning: I did NOT try this with Seamless Coop, so keep that in mind.
Good Evening, I've followed the steps & tried different ways to get this to work at all but nothing is changed & the mod isn't implemented. Don't know if anyone had the same issue and was able to fix it...
Cant get this mod to work, plopped Mod Engine anywhere, put the mod files into mod folder inside Mod Engine folder, got alt saves, added the file to the config file, starting it with .bat and the game is unmodded.
After 2 days, I finally got it working (I assume everything is working properly) . I managed to get status effects from armor & accessories to work (FP Regen every 6 seconds by 3.5%), Weapon procs work, Item names and descriptions work without breaking ERR item names. I might have missed a few things like I don't know what the summons err patch does so I didn't use it when I might need it. EDIT: Tested with the ERR summons patch (ItemLotParam_map) then imported ERR ItemLotParam_map from ERR regulation.bin and things seem to be working still. I should mention that I have no idea what the patch actually does as i've never played the dlc content yet. I will try make a post on how I got it working but I need to test for a little bit. I'm a noob and I don't want people annoying the mod author because I have no idea if it might cause a corrupted save or might be missing key world items.
I can almost get this to work with diablo style loot rewritten but i keep getting ?weaponname? everything else works even the effects of the items, there's jsut no description or name
any luck with this? i also got close to running this mod with DSLR and the enemy randomizer, but for me i constantly get a pop up in game with ?EvenTalkText? and enemy bosses are named ?NpcName?
?EvenTalkText? and enemy bosses are named ?NpcName? looks like outdated/partially completed text files somewhere if everything else is set right. Maybe randomizer didnt overwrite text data in the right way?
I'm having problems getting rng lands to work with deflect me not, I've tried merging and still can't get both of them to play nice. If anyone has any suggestions I'm open to them
I don't know if you're still updating or changing things, but would it be possible to add a Wish x1/x10 that guarantees a Legendary Elden/Omnipotent item for an exorbitant amount of runes? Way late into NG+'s 50k runes is a dime a dozen and that's A LOT of not top tier gear you're constantly cleaning out of your inventory 😬😅
I loved the mod when I tried it out around a year ago, but I'm having trouble with it now that I didn't have back then. I had some issues with corrupted files and things like that, so I circumvented it with the alt saves mod. Not only that, but I checked my stats and health points, focus points, stamina were above 1000, and it took around 20 seconds to fully recover my stamina. This might seem like a good thing, but the actual visual size of the bars remain the same so each attack or hit I would take would sheer off massive amounts of my health/stamina and for some reason, my flask of crimson and cerulean tears wouldn't regenerate anything. I installed the recommended difficulty option, but I will try out the vanilla one to see if my stats become normal.
This issue sounds like there could be mixed files from other mods somewhere. I had similar weird save behaviour if I tried to use the same save for my mod and ERR testing. Character stats and bars ended as being bugged. I would recommend a clean reinstall.
i cant seem to get this mod to work. I dont have any other mods installed, so i just dragged and dropped the files into the mod folder and launched the mod. i dont get any errors but the game just plays like regular elden ring. Edit: i just closed and relaunched it a few times and it started working.

With this setup I'm using the following mods among others:
- Your mod (Balanced, Targeted Loot Ver)
- Elden Ring Item and Enemy Randomizer
- Elden Ring Fog Gate Randomizer
- Seamless Co-op
Extract each mod to separate folders except Seamless Co-op within ModEngine2's 'mod' folder.
Give the folders all clear and short names ex (fogmod, randomizer, rnglands)
Run EldenRingRandomizer.exe within the randomizer's folder
- Click 'Merge Other Mod' -> 'Select regulation.bin to merge'
- Select the regulation.bin file located in your mod/rnglands folder

Once that's done you can launch FogMod.exe withing fogmod's folder

The toml file you need will be inside your randomizer folder.
Customize your settings once more and then hit 'Randomize!'

We need fogmod to take priority and rnglands to do the opposite
- Open config_eldenring.toml
- Edit the 'mods' section to look like this
mods = [
The order dictates priority so make sure to keep it the same.{ enabled = true, name = "default", path = "mod\\fogmod" },
{ enabled = true, name = "default", path = "mod\\randomizer" },
{ enabled = true, name = "default", path = "mod\\rnglands" }
]
To get Seamless Co-op working alongside this you can check out this mod page.
Your done,
Overall very fun overhaul with those 3 mods together. Highly Recommended.
Now if you want to merge further mods just remember the only regulation.bin being used by the game is within fogmod's folder because of our config.

?EvenTalkText? and enemy bosses are named ?NpcName?
Edit: I looked into the code and it seems it would require decent amount of work to implement this idea :/ So for now I think I wont do it.
