A simple and effective guide to using mod engine 2 with seamless coop without having to dig through random articles on the nexus!

YOU WILL NEED A FRESH INSTALL FOR THIS TO WORK! (remember to delete mods and mod resources that may be leftover if you are reinstalling)

Download Mod Engine 2: https://github.com/soulsmods/ModEngine2/releases
Download Elden Ring Mod Loader: https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/117?tab=files
Download Seamless Coop: https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/510?tab=files
Make a folder on your desktop or wherever you want separate from the Elden ring "game" folder and unzip "mod engine 2" and delete the 2 files that say "darksouls3" (not required deletion, but they are not needed for our purposes)
Unzip Elden ring mod loader into your Elden ring folder
Unzip seamless coop into your Elden ring folder
Launch seamless co-op once through the "launch_elden_ring_seamlesscoop" file and make a character then exit and save once loaded in
Make a copy of the "seamless coop" folder and keep that one inside the game folder
Move the files of the original "seamless coop" folder and the "launch_elden_ring_seamlesscoop" exe file into the "mods" folder provided made by the Elden ring mod loader (check mod images for how the folder should look)
Go back to the mod engine 2 folder and now you'll always launch from the batch file labeled "launchmod_eldenring" (i recommend making a shortcut for this on your desktop)
