Nothing changed. In the log it said: SetCPUAffinity > Error: The process requires administrator privileges to modify CPU dependencies. SetCPUAffinity > ´íÎ󣺽ø³ÌÐèÒª¹ÜÀíԱȨÏÞÒÔÐÞ¸ÄCPUÏà¹ØÐÔ¡£ SetCPUAffinity > Setting process CPU affinity succeeded. SetCPUAffinity > ÉèÖýø³ÌCPUÏà¹ØÐԳɹ¦¡£
On modengine2_luauncher.exe go Properties - Compatibility - Run the program as an administrator. Make sure you're doing this on the actual exe and not a shortcut. This removed the error from the log for me.
What a godsend this mod is. Finally a stutter fix that actually works. I was struggling with micro stuttering and turning graphics down didn't help or nothing. With this mod there's not a single stutter and I could even turn the graphics back up!
For anyone wondering, I'm using both mod loader and mod engine 2, at the same time.
Since I upgraded from 12900k to 9800x3d (with 4090), my elden ring is getting plagued by this stutter, in leyndell it's basically unplayable. Funny thing is, my laptop that is equipped with ryzen 7 7745hx + 4070 mobile doesn't experience this stutter at all.
I don't know who you are man, but I hope your entire life be filled with joy and happiness. THANK YOU A LOT.
My dude! I just upgraded from a 13700K (damn near the same CPU) to a 9800X3D and I also had some horrendous stuttering. Just like you I installed this mod and it removed the stuttering. I don't recall needing this mod w/ my 13700K but it's a lifesaver for the 9800X3D for some reason.
its because youre probably still on windows 10. Windows 11 has specific patches for X3D chips to help manage the cores, windows 10 hasnt gotten that update yet
I thought maybe my GPU had an unstable overclock, but it was weird as it only crashed playing this game after stuttering heavily. Installing this mod on my 5700X3D system and it runs at a locked 60fps now! Life saver!
I think this actually works, seems to run a bit better. I was close to just waiting for my new pc to arrive, but now I can play until everything gets here. Thanks man!

It is just a potentially effective alternative solution, please do not discuss its infeasibility, I don't know.
