The process is pretty simple, mainly just tedious, but it helps if you have some experience in the modding tools first. Have you ever used Smithbox or DS Anim Studio?
Probably not, since player ragdolls don't work online. Updating this mod for each new game update was also a huge pain (due to how animation mods work), so if it does ever happen it would be after the majority of NR's updates are done.
I did try that originally, but it was really unsatisfying. All of the force / momentum for the ragdoll comes from the animation and not the killing blow, so without animations your character always instantly stops and collapses in place.
Hey! I wanted to use this Rag Doll in someone else's Moveset overhaul, but they've also made changes to a00.tae Is there a way for me to basically copy and paste the ragdoll stuff to the other mod's a00.tae?
I'm not entirely sure, the old version of DSAS that I used to create the mod had no way to merge specific taes. From what I've heard the newest version of DSAS still can't merge taes as of December at least, but you might be able to copy and paste the events from this mod's tae to another.
You'd have to do it individually for every modified death animation, but you can search for the "Kill Character" event (or something like that, not sure if it's changed) to hopefully speed things up.
