Have you figured out how to remove the stab indicator that shows up whenever you do a stealth kill?

Does someone know why the quest icon is always showing sometimes, like for example when you're going to meet Aitor at the metro station after he arrests Barney? The icon to go there shows even when not tracking the quest.

He is working on an update but if you want to update it yourself it is pretty easy actually. There was only one game update that somewhat broke the mod by adding dynamic time of day and a dynamic weapon wheel. The changes you need to make are deleting 2 lines in the zip file:
      1. Download 7-zip
      2. Right click on the data2.pak file
      3. Hover over the 7-zip dropdown and click "open archive"
      4. Delete the hud_timer_widget.gui line
      5. Delete the weapon_selector_pc.gui line
      6. Move the new data2 pak file to your source folder

This allows you to use the new Dying Light 2 menu settings where you can set the time of day and weapon wheel to either dynamic or off. It also allows you to still check the time in the in-game map if you have it turned off.

Hey man, awesome hud. I have been using it since you released it in February. My only problem that I have is with the latest update from Techland. Everything works fine like it did before, and this mod actually combines perfectly with their new dynamic elements such as the health bar that disappears at full health. My only issue is that now there is no way to see the time of day.

Before the latest Techland update, when you first released this mod the time of day was still visible whenever you opened the map. However after the latest update it is no longer visible in the map with your mod. I want to keep your hud mod instead of making my own because its a really good one. However do you have any advice on how to get the time of day icon to show up again? Techland made this icon dynamic in their new update where it only appears during transition times between day/night. So if I can activate it on your mod then it will just show up dynamically. When I go to edit your file with 7Zip I see the hud_timer_widget line but I am not sure how to edit it so that it shows up again?

I appreciate the help and the awesome hud mod!

Edit: I figured it out! I just deleted the hud_timer_widget from your Data folder using 7Zip and now the time is back at the bottom right hand corner of the world map when it is open. It might be a good idea to remove this from your mod in a future update since the time of day icon can now be adjusted in the in-game settings. Thanks again for the awesome mod :)

Hi, glad you like the mod! I've been really busy with work over the past few weeks and have barely had any time to play the game myself. I did however have a quick game yesterday after doing the update myself and noticed that they have now removed the time (I think it was on the map screen before...?). Anyway its a good shout, I'll try and get an update pushed over the weekend. I'll probably also restore the weapon selector widget as this is now dynamic as well, I had a play with it enabled and found it far less intrusive than it was before since it now automatically disappears shortly after use.

No worries, I understand with work its tough to dedicate time to these types of things. It's also a mod that you completely made free for the community so I am just happy to have it. Thanks for the reply.

I think those 2 changes (the weapon selector and time of day being added back) would make this mod perfect again. It's easy enough to edit it ourselves though by just deleting the lines in the zip file.

Want to give serious props to the author, this HUD is pretty much perfect, keeps tons of useful contextual element like loot and survivor sense blips, whatnot, but the game looks 110x better to me.

It's not quite dying light 1's "none" HUD option which turned off quite nearly everything, but it's pretty damn close. Immersion shot through the roof.

Thanks so much, dude. Endorsement and a half.

hey there, this is one fine mod and im happy someone did that, because i hate hundrets of hud elements floating around. just one thing i noticed  and that's the equipment slots on the lower left corner - i never know what im using since u never see it :D sry if that already came up - didn't read thru all the posts. would be dope if there's a way to make these visible as soon as we switch the stuff in there - or at least per survivor sense. cheers

well... u kinda answered it in the description i see. really hope there will be a way.
