well I think the scr file type means this should go in one of the dataX.pak files instead? I'd open one of the dataX.pak and try to find these file names, likely in data0.pak since that's got so much.

To open the .pak file just make a backup and a working copy, rename it to a .7z or if you use winrar a .rar or whatever. Double click with your program window comes up browse through it in your program look for these file names and I'd unpack the whole data0.pak file and either replace or add the lines in the scr into there.

.scr rename to .txt to look at it in notepad copy paste etc after done just rename it to .scr again. But I'll give this a try in the documents folder like it says in the descp first. v116 EE

Do0es look to be an improvement.
i find thou on pc playing with highest graphics settings. not that its too light. but that the graphics lighting seems a bit too dull. i felt the game needed better lighting effects. not really to darken them but to make the light stand out a little. a more dynamic light effect. not too much cause i like dark and gloomy. but in places especially indoors. the game can seem a little too gloomy sometimes. i hope your mod doesnt take out dust effects. as others do. i dont know why you would want to remove dust and particle effects. from the game unless you havnt got a high end pc and are looking for better frame rates. i like dust and particle effects. and smoky effects. id like more of that not less. the cinematic graphic mod disables these. and the other one. its a shame. nice to see you give people the option to use onl part of your mod. going to give it a try. thanks.

Replace "fix" with "disable". It's not right to say that you fix something that isn't broken and simply you (and others) don't like these effects.

    Be reasonable.

Overexposure is destroyed data in a image not to be retrieved again, so if one can do something to not have destroyed data i'd say thats been fixed. Tho u may be referring to those other effects like blur/dof and film grain then i agree with you, but thats not the case here.

Does it work with 1.2.1? Also, does it remove the yellowish filter?

I don't know really, you have to try out to see. If you remove dof and blur and fix the lights there is some fps gain. But if you only fix the light the fps gain would be minimal if any.

Personally, I prefer the "before" version of the lights. I like shiny things and it looks cool.
