Wow. So glad there's a new mod! I am new to Dying light. I am looking to play this game and since I am a bit sensible to quality, I look always to create the wildest immersive run (no New game plus, for me it's once and best settings or nothing). I was looking for stuff like this. Realistic day night (not exaggerated) maybe settable to 15 minutes = 1 hour in game or maybe 30 minutes = 1 hour (if the game stays table).
Apparently Hard mode can be a pillar to which a player like me can count, but maybe stuff like HUD and other things will be disturbing. In games like this we have no ocular implant or specific goggles so there should be nothing on screen: one learns in the first hours or gameplay then just does it by heart.
Hopefully others like you can bring back old mods to work. I am not looking like in RDR2 where I am to mount 20+ but just a couple or 1 here like this one of yours that really can lead to a cooler xp even if the artistic direction was that one, I really care for real night, it' s another pillar or immersive gameplay.

Does this work on epic games too?
yes, work in any version of the game
my specs:
RTX 3070
Ryzen 5 5600x
3600mgz (2x8GB)
in my GTX 1660super was about 5% max
so..i think in your setup will be barely 0 :D
put the .rar files inside the folder that will open
Reshade.
