The mod has been tested and continues to work perfectly, remembering that it only works on the default Dying Light map, versions like The Following are not functional precisely because they add new files. Maybe I will make a version in the future.
To further add to this in correlation with my previous comment here, I talked to Shaddawen and he / she said that the reason why there are lines that are NOT present in his / her mod but are present in the vanilla default Definitive Edition files is because, in his / her exact words:
"I removed it because Dying Light has some useless lines that still bugged my mod. I removed it to make it more organized and with less bugs. I removed these lines, no need to worry, as far as I know, some NPC's have fewer lines than others, which ends up making them say something in very specific situations, for example, with the voice of Salim, the NPC only he will say something if he hits you, other than that, he won't say anything else, precisely because there is absolutely no audio of him that could be used for fights."
Shaddawen took the time to double-check his / her mod by testing it in-game and comparing his mod files to the vanilla default Definitive Edition files I personally sent to him / her in order to truly verify that it works without issues. I got a confirmation from him / her that he / she has tested the mod in his / her own copy of Dying Light with the latest version and the latest patches. Not only that, I also tested the mod myself in my own copy of Dying Light Definitive Edition game version 1.49.3 / 1.49.0 patch 3 and I can confirm as well that the mod works perfectly without issues in the latest version & latest patches, regardless if your copy of Dying Light is in the Definitive Edition or not.
So I was playing around with the mod and found that some NPCs don't speak dialogue. I investigated this issue by comparing the files from your mod to my original vanilla files from my Definitive Edition with game version 1.49.2 / 1.49.0 patch 2 using a program called WinMerge.
I discovered that there are many text lines inside both the "chatter.scr" & "humanai.pre" files from my own original vanilla Definitive Edition files that DO NOT EXIST IN YOUR MOD FILES.
To give an example, THESE LINES IN "chatter.scr" DO NOT EXIST IN YOUR MOD FILES:
^ ChatterMeleeFighterE & ChatterMeleeFighterI DO NOT EXIST IN THE "chatter.scr" file from your mod BUT IT EXISTS IN MINE. Same exact problem applies with the "humanai.pre" file as well. This is just one of the many stuff that does NOT exist in your mod files but are present in mine, hence why it's important that you update the mod so that the mod will work as intended without any issues.
If you don't own the Definitive Edition with game version 1.49.2 / 1.49.0 patch 2, here's a download link to the vanilla "chatter.scr" & "humanai.pre" files from my own original vanilla Definitive Edition - https://www.mediafire.com/file/6y3rgdnpf033eig/Original_Default_Vanilla_Definitive_Edition_Files_%2528chatter.scr_%2526_humanai.pre%2529.rar/file
@Centerman - No problem :) I'm currently trying to get the mod author to check and compare his mod files with my vanilla default Definitive Edition files. He's responsive so far and he's checking it now as I type this. We just need to wait. I also encouraged him to make this mod for The Following as well.
Desculpe a demora pra responder. Então abra a pasta data e cole a pastas chatters e presets dentro dela. Então é só iniciar o jogo e aproveitar o mod.
Hi, sorry for the delay in replying. I made all the audio configurations using the Portuguese-Brazil dubbing, and I believe it is excellent in all languages as well as in Portuguese it is excellent. And yes, you can use this mod in any language.
Hello, does this mod work on co-op? Does it affect negatively co-op in any way?(Like both players needing to have the mod in order to be able to play with each other) ect.
You and your friends can play using this mod without any problem, but remember everyone need use the same mod files, this also includes the file version.
Unless you have a special modded file called "dide_mod.ini" you can't play with others that do not have the same mods. The file is pretty underground and hidden in discord servers and such but once you have it, it is really easy to use, but don't use massive game changing mods otherwise anyone that joins you will get kicked.
