A ReShade preset that enhances the game's base look bringing its tone closer to that of a game released in 2020, implementing modern post processing methods such as approximated global illumination, advanced depth of field, and modern iterations of bloom, HDR and texture sharpening.

This reshade preset uses extra reshade shaders which are included in the file. If you would rather download them from the official page, please find them at: https://github.com/martymcmodding/qUINT

INSTALLATION

1. First you will need to install ReShade in to your Dying Light game. If you are already familiar with installing ReShade in to games please skip to number 2. For those who aren't familiar with ReShade,
simply click the ReShade.exe and point it towards your Dying Light install. Make sure to let ReShade know that Dying Light uses Dirext X 11.
I have used some shaders that don't come with the regular ReShade package of shaders. If you don't want to install them from here please download them from https://github.com/martymcmodding/qUINT. They are free.

2. Install the extra shaders in to the shaders folder in Dying Light. Simply copy the shaders and textures from either here or where you donwloaded them to and add them in to theshaders folder where your Dying Light install is.
3. Copy Enhanced Shaders.ini to your Dying Light install location.

4. Start Dying Light and press home to open the ReShade menu. At the top of the ReShade window you should see a bar reading 'Default Preset'. Click the right button to activate Enhanced Shaders ReShade.
Enjoy.
Please note: this ReShade preset is optimised for in-game graphics settings where: Ambient Occlusion is OFF, Depth of Field is OFF, and Film Grain is OFF.
Keeping these settings on will not break your game but they may cause undesired effects as this ReShade preset implements more advanced versions of each of these in-game effects.
