Jan 2019 I have applied the monster removal files. Installation is different now. In Steam/steamapps/common/Dying Light/DW find Data0.pak Save a copy of this as backup. Use a tool to extract files from mod. Use a tool to extract files from Data0.pak Replace original files with matching new files. To repack you must drag select all files you are packing Right click and select send to compressed folder. After rename the folder from .zip to .pak. These are quick instructions, sorry I didn't add more detail.
The scripts folder has the monster removal files. I did not use the others. Mod endorsed.
This is partially correct with the current version of the game. Thank you Phantomhate for the DIY instructions, though editing Data0.pak prevents you from loading saves (you get a Content Not Available error). To install the mod without this problem, do the below
In Steam/steamapps/common/Dying Light/DW find Data3.pak Save a copy of this as backup. Use a tool to extract files from mod Use a tool to extract files from Data3.pak Replace original files with matching new files. Repack the new Data3 folder as .zip Afterwards, rename the folder from .zip to .pak
playing this in 2019 .. :D anybody know how lessen the zombie spawn rate, albit realisticly .. would be fun, we can wander out clear places, sort of accomplishments
"do damage with broken tools" By default it is set to 0.1 and in game it seems like weapon have damage similar to fist. But in your file it have value of 2 so I wonder maybe is it set to high? Does 1 mean 100% damage so 2 means 200% ? I set mine to 0.8 to not overdone. I tweaked weapon durability degradation so I think I am good.
Hekz1337 can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure if you just copy the "scripts" folder into your documents/dyinglight/ folder, you'll get rid of the specials without any other changes. The "skills" folder should contain all of the other changes.
Would love to remove all specials and tripple the amount of ambient biters, is this an easy thing to do, other then the specials part which you just answered?
I extract the scripts folder to C:\Users\<username>\ Documents\ DyingLight\Out but when i start the game with the managar it does not work.. I tried to start it with 0.11a and 0.10a. Can anyone help?
Hello, I am a Romero Fan - I like the "really" Zombies...not Runner, Bomber, Screamer and so on...but your Mod don't work with the Patch 1.4....PLEASE make a Update too
