In order to get it to work, I deleted my old save directly from the folder, and renamed the modified save from save_coop_2.sav to save_coop_1.sav, tossed it in there, works like a charm. Be aware that Zombies scale base on your level, and when you pop into the game, you will have NOTHING. No weapons, no money, nada, but stronger, faster Zombies will be running around giving you trouble, and shops will only sell really expensive high level gear. Had to spend a while using Camouflage and Takedowns to build up some money and get some weapons.
